Fantastic food, great service, great value, friendly ambience. Honestly one of the best pub meals ever - the home cooked food was perfect and the portion sizes were huge! Dog friendly.

Excellent meal, very friendly and welcoming. Had 3 dogs with us and they were very thoughtful in seating us. Amazing food, just wish we had space for dessert!

What a lovely, lovely pub. The village of Huntingfield itself is quite inspiring, with a beautiful church, a green, a shop and a community hub to boot. The pub is not necessarily the prettiest from the outside, but the interior is beautifully decorated. The menu has a wide range of options, including for vegetarians, which was particularly welcome for me. I had the baked avocado and my mum had the vegetarian wellington, both very tasty. The food was great value (at time of writing, ham, egg and chips for £10.50!), portions were a decent size and I know I shouldn't be so pleased, but the chips were lovely. Though we didn't indulge, the dessert options looked great. My son did have the lemon tarte, which he polished off at great speed! The couple who run it were very friendly and obviously work very hard. Please give them your business, they deserve it.

I had lunch today at the Hunting field Arms. The pub is a large and atmospheric free house. The food is outstanding (good, not poncey) the prices are amazingly reasonable. The pub always has a good selection of real ales. The owners/staff are friendly and welcoming. It is important to book because the pub is, understandably, very popular.

This pub is so popular that it can be difficult to get a booking but when you do you are treated to excellent food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. You will find a good selection on the menu which is all expertly cooked and is very reasonably priced.

Good food, freshly cooked, friendly service. Tasty top pub grub and good value. For a wet November Thursday it was very busy, which is a review in itself!

Lovely traditional public house. Very reasonable prices with great food choices available. Warm, welcoming staff and we highly recommend a visit or two ;)

Miles from anywhere, but what a great place to eat. I’m sure we will be back. There were five of us and we mostly had different things from the menu. We were all happy with the food we had chosen and everything was hot and well presented. It’s a freehouse, so there is plenty to choose from at the bar. Both landlord and landlady were hard at work, with a minimum of staff in support. All in all, a well run ship, with good customer support. I would recommend it, but would advise booking.

We visited for Sunday lunch & it was delicious. Piping hot, plenty of veg and the meat (lamb) was tasty & tender. Puddings were superb. Highly recommend for Sunday lunch although I would suggest booking in advance as they are popular.

We had a really nice lunch and very good value. We didn’t have room or time for a pudding but a couple near to us did and it looked very good. The barman was very helpful and friendly. A warm, welcoming village pub

Cannot be beaten for quality and quantity of food, value for money, service, atmosphere range of ciders and Steve’s extensive knowledge of them, flexibility with menus, altered to cater for fussy veggie and Brie hating burger lover! Had a wonderful evening, will be there again for sure, a really special treat for us all. Thank you so much.

The food in the Huntingfield Arms is excellent. The menu changes daily and is an eclectic fusion of dishes that will make choosing one difficult. I opted for the sharwarma chicken skewer which was presented beautifully. As tasty as it looked, it was excellent value for money. The landlord is friendly and chatty and I would have no hesitation in recommending his pub for a meal. The Huntingfield Arms is set in a quiet village with outdoor seating available, has a small shop inside selling some very tasty treats and is now my place of choice for eating when visiting Suffolk
