Lovely pub. We arrived at 12pm on Sunday without booking and they managed to squeeze us in. I would definitely book in future as it filled up quickly. Lovely food and service. Will be back!
So good to see that awful duck egg blue paint job done by the last owners has been removed. Architectural vandalism, no other word for it. Well done the new owners!! An historic pub saved and preserved.

We dropped in on the off chance of getting a table and the staff were super helpful and managed to squeeze us in. Lovely old pub, lots of character, proper beer from the tap room and good food.
