We had a brilliant buffet lunch there was a great selection of starters, curry and sides at a very reasonable price, highly recommended and we will definitely return, hopefully soon.

Staying in village on mini break and ventured out in aftermath of Storm Eunice. This restaurant was welcoming and friendly but then again so is everywhere in Long Melford! Can’t remember exactly what we ordered but both dishes were a bit different to the usual curry house menu and both were delicious. The staff were attentive without being pushy and were happy to discuss options and make suggestions. If I was ever back in the area, I’d definitely go again.

What can I say? It was an absolutely luxurious and delicious meal. One of the best I have ever had!The staff were incredibly friendly and professional; I felt like royalty as they served us with nothing but top class and elegance. Customer service was 5 star.The food was faultless and the staff were very helpful in their menu suggestions. There was a large variety of food for all different tastes and moods. Menu availability and food quality was also 5 star.The atmosphere was very soothing and we felt extremely relaxed - as busy as they were, we felt no rush to leave. Decor and cleanliness was top notch and I will definitely be visiting there again, and even ordering a takeaway which seemed to be absolutely thriving!A big warm thank you to all the staff as you all made the experience nothing short of amazing. I look forward to my next visit :)

Melford Valley provided outside catering for my 60th Birthday Party for 42 persons, food was amazing and staff were very helpful and made sure everything went really smoothly. All my guest were very impressed with the whole event and will certainly use them again for future celebrations, thank you to all the staff for making the evening so special.

Some may know I’m in to my curry’s having eaten with numerous people from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Many of these traditional dishes have been anglicised over time so when I find a good quality eaterie I talk about it. Although some dishes had been given the UK taste changes on the whole I really enjoyed my visit here. Having been recommended this restaurant I booked with some trepidation as I kind of avoid the Sunday buffet style places. I should not have worried. All food was good to look at, replenished regularly and clearly marked with signs telling you what was on offer by each dish. A choice of 50!!! The food itself was hot, fresh and tasty and pretty authentic in its appearance and taste. For the price this place is well worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.

Went to the Sunday buffet, the food was really tasty, good choice of dishes. The poppadoms put automatically on the table cost 80p each, the chutney 50p per portion. 2 poppadoms provided per diner so expect a basic cost of £12.05 rather than £9.95. Still good value for a Sunday buffet.Unfortunately they fell down on service. Plates for the food took nearly an hour to arrive at our table - in the end we had to ask for the plates at the bar. Half the plates were too hot to hold without a napkin (a problem with a self serve buffet), the others were not heated.Difficult to attract a waiter's attention and had to ask twice for the bill. When the bill arrived we had been charged for another table's drinks as well as our own, this was rectified promptly when queried.Restaurant was clean and had a pleasant family atmosphere.

This review is based on their delivery service. I've held off reviewing for a while because it's such a hit and miss experience and it's my fault for persevering with them. One week you will get a swift delivery and good quality food and the next time it will take forever to arrive, be cold, missing items and average quality. Not only that, but they've increased their minimum delivery charge from £15 to £20, so unless you're incredibly hungry or there's more than one person, it's not worth it. This past weekend was the last time I will be using their service. It took over 2 hours to arrive which is a completely unacceptable time to wait. When my housemate enquired if it was still hot, he got attitude back from the driver, who also did not want to give any change until requested. I'd have no problem leaving a tip, but not for poor service. Makes you wonder how these places stay in business really, especially with things being difficult at present, but I won't be wasting my time or money again that's for sure!

So I have been to Melford Valley before but this evening the fantastic staff there took it too the next level!!!I always order the same takeaway but this evening I simply mentioned that fact & the staff said to me why not try something different.? So taking their advice on a different meal I was soo impressed & wondered why I hadn't done this previously...Soo again..fantastic staff, incredibly helpful & amazing food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
