Dudley House, 1 Hall St, Long Melford, SudburyWhat a little gem this place is! Most cafe owners would curse when seeing two young children and a huge dog walking into their cafe. The lovely owners of this place were so incredibly welcoming, making an effort to talk to our 2 year old, give our dog treats and chat to us, all whilst serving really delicious food. The cakes also looked incredible (we've got some to enjoy at home later) and everything was very reasonably priced. Well worth a visit!!

Drury House, Hall St, Long Melford, SudburyGreat flat white and the best scone I’ve ever tasted. Stilton! I could have had it with a wedge of cheese but the beautiful local butter is enough! Will certainly be back on our next visit.

Long Melford Swan
Hall St, Long Melford, SudburyWe had lunch at The Long Melford Swan today and it was such a lovely experience from start to finish. The pub itself has a really nice atmosphere and the servers were all friendly and welcoming.
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the beef burgers, chicken burgers and the 3 for £18 deal, plus the lamb chop, and everything was cooked really well and full of flavour. Overall just really lovely food and a great experience. Thank you!

Hare Inn Long Melford
High Street, Long Melford, SudburyHad a roast with the family had all three of the meat roasts; lamb, pork and beef. All the meats were cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. Roast potatoes were a touch overdone very difficult to cut through but tasty non the less. Great drink selection and very friendly staff, our waitress was constantly making sure we were okay and if we needed any more drinks sauces etc. Only issue I had is we could hear the kitchen from our table. Door was open to the kitchen and we could hear them conversing while making the food and music also. Not a major issue but did take away from the cozy pub atmosphere a touch.

Hall St, Long MelfordWe both had the Swiss burgers which were delicious and running a special offer which included a beer as well as Level Head pint glasses to take home. We played Bingo which was hosted by Jean-Paul, the pub manager. Unfortunately no wins for us, but a very enjoyable evening.

George and Dragon Hotel
Hall St, Long Melford, SudburyBeen here a few times for Sunday Roast (Carvery) after a long time away from the UK.
Food is incredible, meat and vegetables are amazing and they have an amazing selection of sauces (apple, horse radish, mint sauce, etc).
Didn’t stay in the hotel rooms, but I have heard good things!
Stuff are also super friendly and helpful.
Definitely recommend you try if you are visiting around Long Melford.
