Great fish and chips. We had a medium haddock and chips and a medium cod and chips absolutely delicious. Had them open to go. Came in a box. Apparently they are cooked in vegetable oil and boy did they taste good. Total just under £22.

I decided to go to Amanda's fish and chips for the first time after seeing some really good comments about the fish and chip shop. Sadly although there are different sizes of fish available, none are priced. And I do believe the special which I ordered was a bit pricey considering I have had much better fish elsewhere for less. Definitely not terrible, I did enjoy the chips and ate it all but unfortunately i do feel it is hard to recommend.

Ordered 3 double burger meals with onion rings and chips as had a migraine earlier and didnt feel like cooking. Only recieved 2 meals. Its the 2nd time its happened now. Seem to have trouble reading orders properly..

It's my first time tonight to order from Amanda's chippy. I've seen this chippy so many times I've walked pass and I've never found any chippy that didn't do battered pizza which I absoutley love. I really did enjoy my order tonight and I can't wait to order again from Amanda's chippy again soon excellent service with excellent food just perfection

Ordered off the website it offers an order ahead option, i pick a delivery for 17.45-18:00 the order has just turned up at 17:00! Why offer the service if you ingnore it! Not happy i have had to put in the oven until my husband arrives home from work.

Last one bought last week and was very nice, as a fish and chips should be ,but ,very very small the portion of chips considering the price, they would get more customers if they would double the size of large chips.Previous 2 times bought last year but was very poor quality , was very oily ,small portions of chips still and expensive for the size served.( not relevant just saying the difference)Their large size chips is a small size of most shops so you know how to order. Hence the 3 stars because of the size would have been a 5 if the portions were bigger. ?
