first time going in was ok stop off at customer till with friendly second time around was a different story second time self scanning service is a waste of time how to ask staff as usual curse the scanners never work then he said I need a scan in device so how do I get one he said you need to pick one up at the front of the store what uses that if you didn't know that in the first place I've only been here 2 times. while staff probably let shoplifters walk out

The ladies behind the counter of Asda cafe are a disgrace. They are frustrated, cold and short to the point. Never seen so rude watchdogs who hate there job at Asda. Usually everyone is lovely at every other Asda cafe. When I wanted to order kids meals for take away they turn you down. I had five kids waiting in car during cold rain and storm waiting to be served and hungry and I wasn't allowed to purchase 5 kids meals as I came with only 1 crying infant inside the cafe. That's ridiculous. You are only allowed to buy for the number of children they see in front of them I have been told. That's so ridiculous because every other Asda shop doesn't have any issue with that and let's you order as much as you want to. It's none of the staff members business why I order a kids meal even if it's for a full birthday party I wouldn't be allowed because they don't see all kids ? What the hell. They are staff members serving food and pretend to be the police on sight telling all the rules to customers to make them feel superior. Hate it and will never come back

Thought I had already reviewed Asda. Large store with plenty of products, but their prices have shot up since they were taken over.

Claire with the pink here was an absolute babe !! She helped me get cash back on the self service machine and was just generally really willing to help and had a happy disposition. I hope she gets to see this and gets a reward. I couldn’t find my receipt to do it on the Asda website.Claire keep smiling and spreading happiness ❤️

Plenty of disabled parking close to the store entrance and electric scooters are available just inside the main door. Plenty of choices for food and drinks etc plus the usual range of non food goods. Did not see a counter selling freshly made sushi and suchlike, unlike the Great Yarmouth store. Fresh bread made in store and pizzas. A few manned tills and a couple of extra wide for wheelchairs.

Went into Asda over a week ago and 2 or 3 fridge doors were missing. Went in today they are still missingSurely this is not good for food safety.

Asda used to be my shop of choice, but recently the quality of fresh fruit and veg has been awful. The prices rocketed up over the last year, then best before dates were removed. At the same time every punnet or net of fruit and veg purchased has had at least one completely rotten item in. If it was only one or two over the course of a month, then I would accept it could be coincidence, but every punnet over a couple of months seems like a deliberate scheme to get rid of rotten fruit and veg at the buyers expense.I had been buying Asda own brand cereals, until this week when I opened a pack of "All Bran" equivalent to discover the bottom quarter of the pack was inedible bran dust.I purchased some own brand grannery bread, which had 3 days date in hand, but it was completely stale on opening on the same day as purchase.I often have to shop late evenings, but recently this has been made difficult due to excessive numbers of pallets and stock trolleys lining the isles, many pushed up against the shelves making access to the goods impossible. Staff on the shop floor are rude and unhelpful, making customers feel that they are in their way, when the opposite is often true. All in all, I am far from impressed and will be looking at changing my shopping habits.

Turned up this morning to a sea of litter outside. They should be ashamed of themselves for such a poor first impression. Find quite a few of the staff, mainly home shoppers, to be miserable and not good ambassadors for Asda. Sorry if I as a paying customer decides to come into the store and spend my money. Maybe I should get out of their way so they can do their job quicker? You can see why so many people don't shop there when you look at the lack of choice and prices.

Just done a click and collect, took 45 minutes before anyone came out. Asda workers just in and out of the doors, not bothering to see us. Customers leaving the store without their food. Worker finally came over but no apology, no greeting. Last time I'll use Asdas services. Even tried to call the store and no one can help you!!! Ridiculous...

When I waited to order I heard the assistant complaining to another worker that the cook was late due to being a no show and having to be rung to come in but as we were not in a rush I ordered and had previous okay breakfasts there. My aunt wanted to stay so we ordered. I ordered a vegetarian breakfast and a side of chips for my aunt. We happily waited but when our order arrived they had put it all on one plate for 2 of us and realised the mistake bringing more chips. I moved the few chips to the side and underneath was the most disgusting breakfast I had ever seen. The sausages were rock hard the hash browns had been fried until the inside had gone and they were completely flat from all their moisture gone. The only part that I could eat was the beans and the accidental chips. I fortunately had requested no egg so how that would have come boggles the mind. I told the lady as she passed out table and showed her how dry and hard the breakfast was and agreed and replyed 'i didn't cook the sausages ' that was all she said and walked off even though she agreed how horrid it looked !! Please avoid the Great Yarmouth cafe in Asda at all cost. We shop there regularly and will never eat there again but the other week had a breakfast in Tesco and it was beautiful so we will now be eating there.
