Ordered small roast and boss hogg deluxe Roast was awful Yorkshire pudding was very cooked and hard in places. The veg taste like they come from Iceland. The burger was missing the 2 beef burgers the hubby ordered chicken as extra so he phoned them they said as he ordered extra chicken (he paid extra money for) they don't put the beef burgers on. Well my advice is reword the disruption to say replacement at an extra cost. Not just extra . Poor quality food for the price

Having used jesters in Normanston Park for a few years we have been disappointed on the last several visits. We had been giving them the benefit of the doubt due to covid etc. However, they no longer do baguettes but have replaced these with 5” baps. They have also increased the price of these by 80p. I have also noticed that on a couple of occasions the baps have obviously been defrosted and then microwaved so not really a fresh roll. A bacon bap is now £3.30 which is a lot smaller than the baguettes they used to do at £2.50. To be fair the staff who work there are extremely polite and efficient, it’s not their fault the owner has decided to increase costs. A cup of normal coffee is £1.80 when most supermarket cafes offer same for £1.50 and some with free refills. We have decided to give this place a miss from now on as there is much better value in other venues in Lowestoft. The venue is nice and clean and staff work really hard. The location is pleasant so it’s a shame the costs have increased so much. I think 2 bacon baps and two coffees should not cost over £10 which it does here.

I ordered lunch for 11 people to be delivered at yesterday. The staff were very helpful and courteous, the food arrived on time and hot. Very tasty food, loads of choice, we ordered 10 different items off the menu and everyone agreed it was great. Would recommend for lunch deliveries in Lowestoft. Also great value :)

Came for a birthday treat in the sun, had no french stick, the one thing they advertise all over the place. Due to covid and indoor being closed we sat outside and so didn’t get the free drink for sitting in, breakfast was poor quality, tinned tomato, not half a tomato and watery beans. Very dry bread roll. Was in a takeaway container so not presented very nicely. Don’t bother!

My wife and I enjoyed a home delivery meal from Jesters as it was her Birthday and due to lockdown we couldn't go out to eat, so we ordered in...this is the first time we have used them (although we had tried on Valentine's Day but no deliveries were available). My wife ordered a Fried Chicken, Bacon and Maple Waffle Sandwich, I ordered a Boss Hogg Deluxe and we had a starter size Pimped Out Pulled Pork Nachos to share...we specified the delivery time and it was within 15 minutes, so all pretty decent and the delivery driver was friendly (as was Tia who took my order). When we unpacked the food we realised the portions were huge...everything was sealed in plastic containers and still pretty hot. The Boss Hogg was delicious, with two good sized beef burgers, bacon, onions rings, coleslaw and salad and a large bag of chips. There was far too much for me to eat so I focused on the meat and hot food and left mainly the salad / slaw. My wife's sandwich was also large...and the 'starter sized' pulled pork nachos was big enough to be a main course - the presentation was a bit messy but it was all tasty and there was loads of it. If we had realised how big the portions were we would have probably skipped the starters and had the chips in the Boss Hogg Deluxe between us. Overall I was very happy with our meal, which was decent value for what you got, and it was free delivery. Service was friendly and efficient. Was well worth trying.

Ordered a delivery a few weeks back and due to an error with their website it was duplicated and I was charged twice. I phoned and they cancelled one of them and I was supposed to be refunded within 3-5 working days.. three weeks later I’m still waiting for my refund. Jesters told me to contact foodhub which I have and now I’m having to jump through hoops to get my money back. Shocking customer service. Shame because the food can be good, I just don’t like having to pay twice for it.

The food is very nice and very good value. Haven’t been inside the restaurant yet, but the delivery is very good and always friendly and fast. We always try and order before rush hour and never fail us with good friendly, fast service! Highly recommended ?

Food took hours to arrive, asked for no cheese.. covered in cheese. Everyone was sick after eating the pulled pork. Phoned up and they were very rude about it saying there was a ‘bug’ going round. Absolute shambles. Never again.

We came here for a late breakfast / early lunch. No seating available inside. Only the benches outside. It was a nice hot day so wasn’t too bad. The order did take a long time to come, it came in plastic takeaway boxes. Waitress was nice and apologised for the weight The waffles were good though

Nice food but very poor customer service stated 45 minutes for delivery but waited an hour and a half, phoned them and person on the phone was rude, delivery driver sarcastic, such a shame but delivery let's it down, apparently orders are taken from 18.00 according to the driver however rand at 17.30 and reciept shows this.

Food took longer than they said to arrive which they had told us it would take an hour and it took longer, when it did arrive the order was wrong they read the order back as well and it was correct but couldn’t seem to make it right. The gravy was watery and flavourless. The chips and onion rings were overcooked. Overall won’t be ordering from here again especially after the price you pay for it you expect a better quality of food. Not impressed.

Ordered a takeaway Roast dinner for 2 at 3.30pm Sunday 3rd Nov via Just Eat. Had confirmation of Order at 5.40pm when Jesters reopened delivery about 7.10 pm. At 7.45pm rang Jesters told it would be another 45 mins as there was 2 orders infront of me. Explained my displeasure and was told to hold on then came back and told me I was banned as she did not like my tone and I would receive my money back in 7 days. Her attitude was apauling and her tone was vile. If you cannot complain to them then I take the view of Zero Tollerance and will not take abuse from them. I immediately phone Just Eat and made a complaint about them and their vile rudeness on the phone they immediately gave me my money back DO NOT USE THEY ARE RUDE AND ABUSIVE.

Our server amiee was rude and stuck up, my friends asked where the toilets are and was told “they’re upstairs... well there is signs” in a stick up and ride manner... food turned up all the burgers was overcooked. When we wanted to order shakes there was man in front of us and was waiting for her to come when she did the phone kept ringing and she kept telling us to wait to answer the phone... and it took the bloke 15 mins to actually order food.

staff are horrible! they laughed at me, called me ‘terror’ and chucked my food at me all because i went upstairs to use the toilet even tho i had purchased something! absolutely terrible! never buying from there again
