The cod I was served did not live a happy life. It was dry (how?) with gaps in the flesh that looked indicative of infection. The haddock wasn't much better, and the chips were leftovers.Redeemed partially by excellent mush peas.Better off going to spoons, or dolphins on bevan st.

Wow! Not expecting anything as good as we got, completely fantastic, traditional fish and chips! The batter was incredible, the fish sublime and the chips were top-notch. Definitely be going there again. Staff really lovely too?

The food was good and delivered quickly which were both pluses. I don't think I'd order again though as the portion sizes were small ; we ordered 4 large portions and they were more like small.

We didn't get what we ordered to be delivered. They didn't have what we wanted and didn't call us to ask if a substitution was all right. Won't be going there again as it was quite pricey and large chips weren't large.

Always worth visiting if your coming to Lowestoft, very close to the town center with walking distance. The fish is best in the in the town centre, crisp batter and with soft texture of fish.

Great service. The fish is amazing! The chips weren't bad either, not the tastiest in my opinion but were nice, not going to drop a star because it is well worth what I paid and would come back for more. I had a special deal, not sure why many other chippies don't. I would highly recommend this place. Can honestly see why this is a favourite for many.

This fish and chip restaurant is brilliant. From the outside it looks like an ordinary fish and chip shop but when you get inside you will find it a delight. This is a family run business and all the staff are friendly and welcoming. We visit at least once a week and usually meet other people who are also regulars. The food is excellent and served up hot. The food is usually served up very quickly and the atmosphere is pleasant. After visiting we won’t go anywhere else for fish and chips. Other choices of food are available but as the fish and chips are so good we haven’t tried anything else. Definitely a 5 star rating.

We came here to great Yarmouth on holiday and visited Lowestoft. We asked someone where the best chip shop was and they pointed us in the direction of Perrys. Wow what can I say, the food is amazing, friendly staff who are also there to help you. Also brilliant with children. If you ever via Lowestoft then Perrys Is definitely the fish’s and chip shop to visit. We will definitely be back again. Thank you. Claire and Gary xx
