Looking forward to an easy family night out. Thought this was the place.. arrived a little early , was sat at a waiting table. Not offered drinks or menus to be taking a look at. It was very hot, quite uncomfortable to be honest, and loud, couldn’t hold a conversation without raising our voices.Ordered which was hard due to the noise.Food was average at best, was looking forward to the famous burgers. But when it came looked okay, but was dry and the fries very greasy. We only had one round of drinks as we’re never asked if we wanted any more.Is a shame, could be great again with a few simple cost free changes. Cool the burgers to order so they haven’t dried out. Just check on the tables, could make more money if more. Drinks were served.A shame really, as could be so much more.

Haven't been here for many years but came for birthday celebration. Food was superb. Served piping hot and the waitress came round to serve each person individually, not leaning across others. Would have given 5 stars but for the music, much too loud for a restaurant whilst trying to chat over dinner in our opinion however everything else was perfect. You can also have a half portion desert but I was completely full from the amazing mushroom stroganoff.

Visited with family, this evening.Service was great - all of the staff members were friendly and welcoming.Food was delicious - couldn't fault any of it. I had the Halloumi burger, but with chicken instead of beef. The halloumi was cooked to perfection. My dad said that his steak was one of the best he has had! My 'Bob Marley' desert was delicious! My only negative comment would be that the toilets could have been a little cleaner (the walls in the toilets were a little dirty.)We will definitely return and would highly recommend! It is unusual to find a place where all of the staff are friendly, these days!Great job, Sgt Peppers! XxVegetarian options: I did notice vegetarian options on the menuKid-friendliness: Super child friendly. There were families with children of all ages. The menu is very family friendly. There are suitable options for all ages.Parking: Free to park on the road, outside of the restaurant after 6pm.Paid parking within walking distance before then.

Portions were, if anything, too big! Eyed up the desserts going out whilst we waited for our main, already picked what we wanted, couldn't finish the main! But lovely restaurant and good food!

Great food and reasonably priced. Loved the great decor and I would recommend as a place to eatKid-friendliness: There were a couple of groups who had taken their children there for birthdays whilst I was dining.

1st time eating at Sgt Peppers. Atmosphere is brilliant reminds me of a trip to Liverpool. Staff were welcoming and friendly and food was piping hot and delicious. Will definitely be making this restaurant the place to go. Fantastic

This place has recently changed ownership but everything is the same or better. Great evening meal.

The food wasn't as good as I remember it when I was a teenager - dry burger and not enough chips - though actually there were enough chips as they didn't taste great so I left some! Shame really but I won't be going back. Good service, but the chef needs to up the game a bit

We attended last night for an adhoc family meal, we have used Peppers extensively in the past and never really had any complaints however last night was very disappointing. The burger was very tough, dry and difficult to cut, so much so I had to leave it. The pepper sauce whilst ok was a bit bland and not really peppery. Come on guys, get back to how you were before.

Haven't been to Sergeant Pepper's for a while and it's still as good as I remember. Really good food, friendly staff, great atmosphere. Just over £50 for three of us for a beer, a cocktail pitcher and three burger meals. Recommended.Vegetarian options: All the burgers have the option of swapping the beef burger for a soya based burger.

We were in the area for a few days and ate out every night. We found Sgt Pepper’s via a Google search and was immediately intrigued. Open since 1982, away from the main Lowestoft town centre (with local parking) if you are a 60s or Beatles fan, I think it’s safe to say you are gonna LOVE this place. Brimming with Beatles and decade related memorabilia (there’s even a mock zebra crossing and a drum kit on the ceiling plus numerous juke boxes dotted around), even the stairs to the toilets and cubicles have numerous Beatles posters and photos, everything a budding Beatles fan would ever want or need – forget The Cavern Club, this is place to be….So how about the food and drink ??Love the menu, pulling on musical references (see pic), very clever. However……………….Be careful what you select as some meals (for me) offered much better value for money. I had the “ZZ Top”, which is basically a burger in a bun with some coleslaw and a dollop of pulled pork and 2/3 of a plate of French fries (always a good way of making a meal look more than it is) while my wife had “The Supremes” – an absolutely incredible chicken breast covered in pepper sauce with a nice side salad, some huge spicy potato wedges and a dip, I was envious and tbh, ended up finishing her meal because she was absolutely full. I had room LOL. I recommend you think a great deal about your choice of main meal. The food was fresh and well cooked and arrived nice ‘n hot. I do wonder if a number of customers eat here for the kudos and intrigue and the food is excellent, but a bit pricey if you’re just having a burger. Budweiser on draught and a nice selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, something for everyone. Staff were pleasant.Be warned, the place closes relatively early (we turned up initially at 8.45pm ON A SATURDAY only to be told that kitchen was shut down as the place closes at 9.30 !!). Needless to say, we went back a few days later (our last meal before we went home) and got in at 6.45.Overall, well worth a visit if you’re say, within a 15-20 mile radius, especially if you’re a huge Beatles fan, but some meals (for me) seemed a bit expensive. Doubt we’ll go again, simply because we live over 200 miles away, but as we were staying in the area, so glad we went. Check it out.
