Food is lovely. Delivery is relatively quick. Given if you pick a busy night you should expect to wait longer. Service is great. Always friendly in the restaurant fresh and tasty. Recommended

Been going to spice den for years and used to have really lovely food. Ordered last night the chicken was very rubbery. Me and my partner was up most of the night violently ill. Hugging the toilet most of the night? unsure if they have changed owners recently as never had a problem till recently. Notice on the last few chicken was not great but after last it's made us both very ill will not be using them again

We visited here last night, and had a fantastic meal, Great menu choices, lovely clean restaurant, staff were very friendly and service was quick, even though we dined late, we didn't feel rushed at all, Starters, mains, desserts and drinks for 4 adults was less than we expected it to be, very nice food, recommended if in that area.

We had a one night stay in Lowestoft, and a wander down the High Street looking for somewhere to eat was somewhat lacking. inspiration. We’d already walked past the restaurant once, and it as one of those ‘we might as well try here’ moments, rather than a deliberate choice. Well, I’m glad we did! The food was just great, and the service was attentive and efficient. I was determined to try something different, rather than fall into the old trap of ordering something I know I like. My chosen dish, king prawn aimee, was just fantastic - definitely up there with the favourite dishes I have ever had in a curry house.

Ordered a takeaway tonight, I have high expectations from any Indian takeaway but couldn't fault this. It was really flavoursome, hot on arrival and portion size was enough. Looking for an Indian.... Look no further.

Came in it was all great and good vibe. But through my main course whilst I was eating I realised that there was a fly in my food. The manager blamed it on saying that it came from outside but we were in the corner and we didn’t see any flies near us. This is a serious hygiene concern because what if we got food poisoning from it? 100% would not recommend.

Went for a meal out with elderly parents never have I been in a Indian restaurant and had a experience of a rude and unwelcoming gentleman. Sat down because we were unable to eat anywhere else, he obviously thought we would not order much food. He came to take or order and he just got worse The food came and some we just could not eat, he did knock this off the bill but unfortunately it was too late he had made us unhappy from the start, this restaurant dose not deserve customer. If you check my trip advisors review I never complain unless it necessary, I like to give credit where it due, but unable to make once nice comment.
Whenever we decide to have an Indian meal out we always choose the Spice Den in Lowestoft. This also applies to a takeaway. We have spent a number of celebrations there. Anniversaries, birthdays etc. Today 26th July was my 76th birthday and we had a family meal there. The food was excellent, the service was excellent and the staff were excellent. Definitely a 5 star rating.

Nice food and service. Probably better than the one that wins all the awards up the road that has a slippy floor.

Poor service, poor food quality. We had issues with our food so requested to speak to the manager 3 times. He didn't come and speak to us. We ended up leaving having paid for rubbish food with no taste to the three dishes we had. A prawn tandoori and 2 veg dishes. No salt, no flavours at all on any of them. The garlic naan and the cheese naans were very tasty. The restaurant staff barely speak much English and our drinks order was initially wrong but got corrected once we raised the point. The person who takes the payment was also not very friendly and didn't want to listen to our issues with the food. We paid and left ASAP.
