Love the pub first time after watching LOWESTOFT Town

Easily the best pub in Lowestoft. The range of beers (mainly craft ales) are both exciting and often delicious. The atmosphere is congenial and the layout makes this a very comfortable pub in which to spend your afternoon/evening. Five stars indeed and deserved.

The first time we visited the Stanford Arms and we had a fantastic night, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. Note of warning though some of the guest ales were staggeringly strong in terms of volume, had one that was 11% nearly put me on my a€$%There was a great local band on, but after that beer I've no idea who they were ???

What a great pub. The staff are so very friendly. The Pizzas are amazing. The music is fab and the wood burners make the pub warm and cosy. Such a great atmosphere. Lovely to go to a pub where there is a mix of all age groups. A big attraction is their wide range of ales. So worth a visit.
