One of the best fish and chips I've had. The battery was wonderfully crispy, and light. I've had soggy and greasy fish and chips in the past, not this one. The batter also tasted lovely. The haddock was fresh and juicy inside. Wonderful mushy peas too.Our children left clean plates.Loved the decor with a shabby chic style, and the service was top-notch.I would definitely recommend. I wish I lived closer, this would be my go to!Kid-friendliness: Children menu, nice seating area

Popped in for a lunchtime snack on the go. I have rarely seen a restaurant as clean as this one. The toilets would grace a 5 star hotel. For a little old chippy in the high street, this plaice (sic) is wonderful. And good food and friendly service to boot.

Great staff, so friendly and switched on. Neat and tidy. Reasonable prices. Good variety. Close to the beach. Fresh chips. Unusually nice crockery for a fast food restaurant. Nicely done.

We were looking for somewhere to eat in lowestoft and we found "the chippy" excellent service, plentiful and very tasty food. Recommend and Will definitely visit again.

The food was fantastic could not fault it, everything was cooked fresh. My only complaint was a brat running round the back room and into the cooking area screaming as loud as he could and staff did nothing to control him, this set my PTSD and Anxiety to high which put a downer on my visit

As a takeaway the food is absolutely lovely, however we were going to eat in as we had time to kill before going to a musical event but when we saw the prices in the restaurant we were astounded! Double the price of takeaway !! Absolutely unacceptable

Brilliant Fish and Chips. I ate in and had the Lemon Sole n chips. Place is clean and tidy. Staff where friendly Alicia and Tommy. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend. Halloween ? decorations are a nice touch.
