Good food, generous portions and friendly service - but why do they put high tables and stools in the bar area so now it's necessary to eat in the adjacent restaurant, which is reminiscent of a factory canteen (admittedly with panoramic sea views!).

Came here to get a voucher as a present. As soon as we walked in you could see it is a nice establishment. Staff were very helpful. Will be going back to have dinner at some point as this place has been highly recommended.

Lovely little pub. It was busy around mid-day on boxing day and had a great atmosphere. Staff were quick and friendly and despite not ordering food, from what I saw it looked scrumptious. If I’m ever in Pakefield again, I will be returning ?

You are always sure of a good time at the Jollys. As we are local, we come here regularly. The food is always exceptional and the team are super friendly. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Situated on the cliff top of Pakefield, service is excellent it would have achieved 5 stars if it wasn't for the vegetarian sausage bap, I eat veggie sausages all the time and there are better makes out there, they were very pasty inside, 2ND REVIEW, we have been back today for the 4th time for lunch it was superb, I had the cod loin, it wasn't a loin but a pice of cod fillet and the sauce was a little oily but wonderful taste and cooked perfectly my husband had the brisket of beef both which was so tender and there was that much of it he could hardly eat it and again cooked to perfection, would we both have it again you bet we would and can highly recommend them.

Visited with friends for a Sunday roast. Three out of four of us were disappointed which is a shame. The girls serving were lovely. If you are looking for a quiet get together don't go on the same day as they have live entertainment. Saying that the band wasn't terrible. It's just that we were having to almost shout to be heard.

My first time here today. Breakfast with a friend. I asked for my breakfast well done and i can honestly say it was THE best breakfast ever. The quality was amazing. Absolutely will be coming back, oh and the Latte was beautiful too. Thankyou. Now looking at the rest of the menu for another visit ?

Malaysian coconut curry was the business, enough to turn you veggie, fish wasn't as fresh as I expected and the chips are rough cut, fried with the full skin on, not that appetising really.. 3 star for me, but service was very good... probably still worth a try.Vegetarian options: Malaysian coconut curry ?

Lovely place, excellent food and great sea views. Dog friendly both inside and out with easy car parking.
Very nice pub right next to the beach, beautiful overlook. Modern inside with a great atmosphere.I wanted to like the food more, I had a chicken and bacon sandwich which had apparently no bacon so no flavor with just chicken and mayo. For £9.50 I thought it would be a lovely flavorful sandwich and was disappointed.Overall a nice pub with a good atmosphere, my food was lacking but maybe I picked the wrong sandwich. They have quite a variety of food, I felt most of it was on the expensive side. Most lunches there were between £17-22

Were in Lowestoft for along weekend. Visited The Jolly Sailors twice for evening meals had booked in advance as it was the weekend. We arrived early and asked if it was possible to get table, one night we had to wait a little while. Great choice of food, staff were lovely. Wasn't rushed, would definitely come again.

Had lunch here two days in a row that's how nice we thought it was. Great gluten free menu and a lot of the specials are also gluten free. Service was very good and bar is dog friendly.Dietary restrictions: Spoilt for choice of gluten free dishes.

Could not fault this lively pub which overlooks the sea in Pakefield, Lowestoft. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food was absolutely delicious.
