Very nice pub that's split in half (half restaurant, half bar). Seasonal menu, pizza menu (including dessert pizzas) and a specials board all fairly priced. Would have loved to see some more pub classics on the menu though like gammon egg and chips, however their selection is good and will please most hungry folk! Had Garlic mushrooms and battered cauliflower to start, scampi + fish and chips for main and a very nice apple crumble for dessert. Pleasant experience and good service. No cocktails available in the menu though, please implement some! Would come more often! We went on a Thursday night. Completely empty and we dined for 1 1/2 hours and had the place to ourselves. Had a nice intimate evening not having to talk over other people, would reccomend. Note that their kitchen is shut on Mon + Tues tho

The real ale, as always, was well kept and in top condition. The pub was busy with a nice atmosphere. I tried one of the pizzas from the menu. This is a new range so the first time I had one. I tried the Ham and Shroom. Really delicious and highly recommended. Most enjoyable evening.

We popped in for Sunday Lunch after calling ahead and checking the pub is dog friendly (which it is) Partner was really happy to see Lamb on the roast menu and I went for Beef. Good pub lunch, full of flavour and reasonably priced. The extra gravy boat and side of cauliflower cheese was much appreciated. The waiting girls/bar staff were ever so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. Very personable service without feeling like they were fussing too much. 10/10 for the service alone. The bowl of water and plate of doggie treats was such a lovely touch. Thanks for a great lunch to all the staff. We will definitely return. You should advertise yourselves more as kicking ourselves for never thinking/hearing about this place before!

Feels like we were invaders of a private club. Everyone glared at us so we left. Most uncomfortable experience.

We've been here several times in the past for meals with friends. The choices on the menu are getting less and less. We've been told in the past that there is no need to book a table. We had friends staying for the weekend and they suggested coming here for a meal and drinks as we have in the past. We visited on Saturday 7/11/23 at 19.40 only to find the restaurant was locked. On enquiring in the bar we were told it had been cleaned and would not be opened. We were offered the chance to eat in the bar but as this was quite noisy with pool tables, kids shouting and the fact that there were no empty tables we refused as we could'nt eat and drink or talk in peace. We left, disappointed. We won't be coming back.

We held our wedding lunch at the Norman Warrior recently. The staff were all very friendly , the food was great too. Very reasonably priced drinks, lovely beer garden, great size restaurant. What more could we ask for. Thanks Shaun, we appreciated everything you arranged for us and for the staff being so kind and helpful.

Very nice afternoon spent having food and drinks in busy beer/ family garden.(American fun day) Plenty to keep kids occupied. Good entertainment by singers and friendly atmosphere, kids face painting and Disney characters for photos with the kids.

Stopped here whilst on holiday with the kids and dogs. Little climbing frame which kept the kids busy. Nice food at a reasonable price would recommend.
