Breakfast is at best a bad standard cafe style. Cheapest sausages, like school dinner food. Service is good though. If you care about food there's much better places for breakfast.

Friendly welcome, café area was clean. I ordered a small breakfast with a coffee £6.50. Good value. Everything was cooked perfectly and arrived at my table in no time at all nice and hot, the coffee was very nice to. I really enjoyed my breakfast in a friendly, relaxing café. The waiter was a really nice guy, helpful with friendly conversation. Would defiantly eat here again.

We were on the look out for somewhere we could have lunch as a family that could cater for allergies. There were two waitresses in the doorway of the establishment as I approached to look at the menu. Both looked disinterested and didn’t make any conversation with me, not even a greeting. I enquired about catering for allergies and was advised they could cater for my daughter (age 3 with wheat and peanut allergy). We were seated upstairs inside. It was very clean. Decor was fitting with the brand- it has so much potential but sadly fell short in my opinion. We were waiting a while before we were approached by our waiter. Ordered drinks and food. Advised him of daughters allergies as we were advised to do- asked for egg and chips to which he asked me if that would be suitable. He was very unsure what she would be able to have which didn’t fill me with any confidence and stood in awkward silence for a while so I opted to order a jacket potato with tuna mayo for her. Drinks arrived with cutlery (no table mats as we had seen being brought to other tables- leaf design in keeping with theme- nice idea!) Food arrived shortly after- jacket potato was unpleasant even more so the tuna mayo was awful- my son would barely tough his tuna mayo sandwich. My sweet chili chicken wrap was lacking in chicken and my husbands chicken and pesto panini was ok. Only bonus was that there were plenty of fries- unclear whether they contained wheat so we had a very hungry 3 year old. After feeling very unwelcome throughout we paid the bill which was pricey for the quality of food and left. We will not return- please educate your staff on allergens and change whatever tuna you use please!!

Nice place to eat, reasonable prices & service not bad. Just a shame they allow local alcoholics & 'riff-raff' to visit. Very off-putting really.

Needed refreshment and saw Red Mingo and it looked different so we called in and had a nice cuppa and quite tasty savoury snack. Downside was that they served fries instead of proper chips(this could be because of new potatoe season) but there was plenty of them.

Loved this place good size portions we had a sandwich lunch, when it arrived it was more like a meal for us, and very reasonable price for the amount of food we got, defo go there again when we visit the area again

Ordered a flat white and bacon roll, £8.20, so ok, i thought , bit pricey but ok if it's good . Well was rubbish , cold coffee and an anemic bacon roll full of fat.......£8.20.....could have got a full English at lighthouse !!! Will never go back
