Pizza Express allow dogs at discretion of the manager. 1st one I have ever been to that does not allow dogs.

Worse Pizza Express service ever! We booked a table a week ago and was looking forward to a lovely family meal. Upon arrival, we were sat at the front of the restaurant around the corner. The waitress took our drink and food order, read it back to us and off she went. A short while later we got our drinks (minus the jug of water we asked for), she explained the glasses were all hot from being washed and the ice was in one big block so we couldn’t have ice. We asked for water a jug of water again, when it was finally bought over I asked for some glasses, and she looked at us like we were crazy. After waiting half an hour for our pizzas, I asked the lady what was going on, after talking to the kitchen team she came back and said there was a technical issue and the pizzas hadn’t gone through, did we still want them. Of cause we did! she said they would be 20 minutes, after half an hour of no pizza, she came over and asked if we’d like to miss the pizza and go straight to desert! I thought she was joking, she wasn’t! I flagged down the manager, who said we would leave without paying for the starters. Absolutely appalling night. I understand restaurants are short staffed, but don’t fill them with customers if you can’t provide a good service. Will be avoiding this branch in the future.

Jayne was our waitress today. She was so welcoming and lovely from when we walked through the door. We were struggling with the menu options so she sat with us and talked us through the different types that we could order, as well as substituting items we didn’t like. We will definitely be returning! Thank you so much Jane, best service we’ve received in a very long time.

Every so often, we visit Pizza Express and use TESCO Clubcard vouchers. When we arrived on the Sunday, we were told that the empty restaurant was fully booked, and we were turned away. Since there was zero availability for 2 people, we went to Unico Pizzeria instead. We were disappointed on this particular occasion, perhaps a big event was on. On past visits we have easily managed to just walk in and get seated for 2 people.

We had Colin and he was incredible. He really made our experience wonderful, and told me that there was no such thing as seagulls. We were laughing all evening. He even made me a bespoke dessert!Also, great with my dietary requirements :) the vegan cheese is incredible!
