Really good food and very nice atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We went on a Saturday evening and there were plenty of spaces to park. There is a pond as well, so in the summer is a perfect location. We will definitely go

Had booked here on recommendation for a roast dinner, & it didn’t disappoint at all, beautiful & tasty roast dinner, I had the beef & my husband had the pork utterly delicious from start to finish.Definitely will return & recommend this gem.Dog friendly too.

Visited this absolute gem of a village pub for a family meal just after Christmas. Really warm welcome and great service. We had a drink in the bar before lunch -great local ales! - and the food was fabulous, such great quality.

Arrived on the 22nd Dec to carol singers in the main bar… what a way to get you in the Christmas spirit! All 14 of us sat in the dining room which was perfect for a group our size. We couldn’t fault the service at all, everyone received their starters, mains and deserts in perfect timing so we could all enjoy our food together. Had a great selection of wine, beers and spirits for later in the night ? All in all was a perfect end to the working year and we will definitely be returning! Thanks the GM x

After a cold windy UFO walk in Rendlesham forest this cosy warm pub with friendly staff and delicious festive food was just what we needed. Accommodating all of our needs, including dog, gluten free diets and disabled members of the group without any problems, the food was delicious (tender flavoursome salmon, turkey roast and pasta for the kids). The lemon cheesecake was especially good!

What a warm welcome and delicious food! Our group of 4 adults, 3 children and a dog enjoyed a fabulous lunch here after our walk in the forest. My husband and I both enjoyed generous portions of roast turkey with all the trimmings, and the rest of our party seemed equally happy with their meals.

It was our first visit but we'll certainly be back if we're in the area. The Christmas roast dinners were excellent. My 10 month old son had a children's roast and he very much enjoyed it too. He was made to feel very welcome by the friendly staff.Kid-friendliness: High chair provided, kids menu available.
