It's reopened, lovely new owners and staff. We had sharing platters, I had the vegetarian and dave the seafood, both were excellent. We didn't share. I only gave 4 star because as a vegetarian, there was only gnocchi as a main course, i suggest something like an aubergine stack , something with vegetables. For meat and fish eaters the choice was excellent. Dave assured me that the ale was good.

What a fabulous place! So welcoming - our dog was very happy in the bar area. The food is exceptional. The gnocchi was so delicious and the haddock and chips superb. We shared a dark chocolate creme brûlée with marscapone and fresh berries for pudding and I can honestly say this was one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Added bonus is a really pretty beer garden, good parking and nice clean facilities. We’re sure to return!
