Food was lovely and it's an Adnams pub so the beer is obviously good. Very busy on this bank holiday weekend so it was very busy and therefore quite a long wait for service. Staff friendly and helpful though.

I like the pub and where it is at the harbour. Beers good if you like Adnams, which it should be, as it's brewed in Southwold. The downside is that they know how to charge like all Adnams pubs do. Had food on the last visit, had the Gammon egg and chips and was sadly lacking in the chip department even the kids cod and chips had as many if not more. Chips are cheap and another handful would have made no difference to the pub bottom line but plenty of difference to the meal, so thats a fail to me.

Really busy before the season gets going.Parking spot found outside. Will get harder in season, and would be tempted to park wherever there is a spot and walk here.We got there early and soon enough a table for 4 became free upstairs. Both bars are snug and we're busy. Very dog friendly.Adnams bitter ? well kept. 0.5% Ghost Ship a great choice for drivers and on draught too ?Food excellent. My fish pie had a lovely cheesy tip to the mash. Monkfish and prawn Goan curry had a nice heat.Hugely impressed and highly recommended

Possibly the best fish and chips in Southwold? Check kitchen times before travelling. Well kept Adnams

A true to life, historic old fisherman’s pub. Cracking location, harbour view. Adnams pub, all I need to say about the food is ‘best fish & chips ‘ I’ve ever eaten!! Truly. Out of this world!! Elle had Scampi, again brilliant!! A definite winner!!!
