Amazing place, sitting by the old fishing sheds in the harbour, does it get any more authentic or fresh

Great fish and chips, cooked to order. Portions are really large, we now have one portion between us. Seating outside is partially cover great if it is raining or very sunny, it also keeps the seagulls away as they cannot swoop in ?

Fab food, all freshly cooked to order. Well worth a visit ?

Stumbled on this place on a holiday three years ago and came specifically again on this trip. Still great. Fantastic fresh fish and great chips. Will squeeze in again next time we're up this way.

Not cheap, but really fresh fish, crispy tasty chips, very good mushy peas, and a huge portion. Right on the dock side. Parking is a bit random, but I think is allowed outside. We parked further down & definitely felt the benefit of a short walk.

it's hard to put into words how good this cafe chipshop is... the care and love the boss and his son put into this place shows in every way...great food, fresh fish and fantastic service. the views are great, not pretentious like some, just honest hard working people providing top notch fish and chips always up to standard...brilliant !

Perfect little spot to sit and enjoy some delicious chips. Staff were extremely friendly and hubby said the fish was lovely. Thank you :)

Being fair if you charge such a high premium you need to be judged in such a way. If you open at 1145 and constantly check outside to see a cue forming. And all you sell is fish n chips. Why don’t you have any ready ? So after a 30 minute wait the 20 or so people waiting eventually got their food. £9.50 for fish n chips ! Size of fish was ok. Chips size is small to medium. But it was ruined by the nasty greasy batter. Not the nice flakey kind. Soaked in grease. So it got sickly and ended up being left. Summing up. If you want a half hour wait for dripping in grease sickly fish that you pay a premium for. Go ahead !

By far the the best fish & chips I have ever tasted. The fish was fresh and huge with the ends hanging outside of the container! Really crispy batter and nice chunky chips - amazing! No wonder this place is so busy - it was also really good value for money, for two fish suppers including a carton of curry sauce is was £20.00 - really pleasing given they could charge more because it’s ‘Southwold’.

Went on mothering Sunday and obviously they were busy, but it is worth the wait! The man who served us was super efficient and really friendly, hats off to him as it must be hard to stay friendly with a never ending queue , I couldn't do it!The fish batter was nice and crispy and well drained of oil, when chip shops are busy they tend to rush the fish out soaked in oil. But not here, perfectly drained and super crispy. The chips were also cooked to perfection, so hat's off to the team behind the counter at Mrs T's, thanks for thd lovely fish and chips.
