Really lovely bakery, very friendly and helpful staff who always make me feel welcome. The bread is the best in the area and it has a lovely traditional feel to it. Can’t beat a cream and apple puff either…Kid-friendliness: Some lovely cakes made especially for children -my kids love them :)

Super old fashioned bakery. Recommend their sausage rolls and cream slicesParking: Always busy so tricky to find a parking spot at times. Luckily no double yellow lines surrounding the shop and nearby roads.

You can smile and be nice all you like but it’s not reciprocated! Shame service is so poor-staff having their own conversation while trying to serve you . It’s not what you expect from a local business… customer service is everything!This aside-enjoyed the food even though crusty rolls were now chewable.Price wise….4 crusty rolls, 3 Eccles cakes and a large seeded loaf were over £12! A bit excessive I felt but everything is expensive now

Sadly, I found this lovely little bakery shop (Meredith Rd, Ipswich) all shut up & obviously closed down. 29th March 2023.What a shame,?, their bread and cakes were delicious ?Thankfully, the other Palmers Bakery shopsat HAUGHLEY, STOWMARKET, WOOLPIT, NEEDHAM MARKET, CLAYDON & STANTON remain Open.
