Costa Coffee Stowmarket Wilkes Way
Meadow Centre, Unit 5, The, Wilkes Wy, StowmarketI love this Costa, the queue time is average but well worth the wait, the staff are friendly and polite. The sausage, bacon cheese panini is a must have!! The sausages were juicy and cooked to perfection and the bacon tasted amazing with the melted cheese. The hot chocolate was rich and extremely tasty which was topped with whipped cream this enhanced the milky taste of the hot chocolate, I highly recommend coming to this Costa for a bite and a chat with friends and family. there is indoor seating and an extended glass conservatory with outdoor seating optional.

Papa Johns Pizza
2 Gipping Way, StowmarketFoods good. I enjoy the spicy Italian sausage topping the most.No atmosphere because it's a small fast food shop with uncomfortable stalls to sit on. Don't expect much more from a pizza chain but it's still unpleasant as you're forced to eat away from the restaurant. What if I didn't want to carry my pizza home with me?Vegetarian options: Vegan cheese is the best vegan cheese I've ever had. I would opt to choose it over mozzarella sometimes.Parking: It's paid but free if you're quick

The Mandarin
Stowmarket Rd, Old Newton, StowmarketAmazing Chinese. Definitely far better than either of the two Chinese takeaways in Needham! Satay chicken skewers are lovely, sweet and sour chicken balls are not too greasy. Only issue is the sweet and sour sauce which comes with the chicken balls. It tastes vile and is inedible - it always has to go in the bin.

SULTAN KEBAB
39 Ipswich St, StowmarketI have been frequently using this place and thought it about time I write a quick review.... this place is by far, the best kebab shop I have visited, I don't know what they coat their chicken sheesh in because if I did I'd be a millionaire. The guys behind the counter could not be friendlier either.

The Osier Cafe
Museum Of East Anglian Life, Crowe St, StowmarketA really friendly and welcoming cafe that’s moved from the museum to Stowmarket church in recent years. There’s plenty of tables which is good as the Osier’s a popular spot for lunch. It’s a really unique cafe because of the church location. We all enjoyed our food. The rainbow salad with felafel was lovely and the quiche was really nice too and was served with a salad and baked potato. The portion sizes are generous and reasonably priced too. There’s an excellent selection of cakes on the slices of cake are large!I’d happily recommend the Osier cafe to others.Vegetarian options: There’s vegetarian options on the menu. A good choice of vegan cakes too.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are labelled.Kid-friendliness: There’s plenty of high chairs and an area with some toys where small children can play, which is a nice touch.Wheelchair accessibility: There’s a ramp up to the church and level access.

Lime Tree Café
1, Buttermarket, StowmarketDoes good food well and quickly. Hubby always has a cooked breakfast with chips of some description and I have a jacket potato. Plenty of items.to choose from and you are served quickly. Staff are young and smiley. In the warmer months you can sit outside but quite a few tables and more room upstairs. The top step.always seems an issue to us and we often trip.up so beware. However staff bring your food and drink.up so never been a real.issue.cash only which in our case means to us you have to be prepared before you go in as we rarely carry around cash. There is a cash machine round the corner if needs be.

Magpie Combs Ford
1 Combs Ln, Combs Ford, StowmarketUtterly fantastic food ,best carvery I've had for years .Staff very helpful ....doing the best they can in cramped conditions ...Table booked at 1.30 finally got seated at 2 20 ran out of time for afters (car park closes early on Sundays ) Shame for us and them as they lost the sale of 13 afters ! Feel sorry for the staff ...as I always try and give a fair review .It was utter chaos entering people everywhere juggling for seats .We expected it to be busy as it was Mother's Day .....but this was another level .The first course we had was fantastic ! Well done Chef and serving staff !

The Walnut
Violet Hill Rd, StowmarketExcellent in all respects. What you'd expect from a real ale and Cam.RA recommended pub. They do not serve food(concentrating on fine ales)but every other Thursday they have a night off cooking and host a WagYu burger van, placed right outside. You can order you're choice of burger ,and any accompanying extras,at the van- they'll issue you a numbered ticket & bring it in to you in the pub.Top quality meat. We both enjoyed immensely during our visit on Thursday1st of Feb.

Debenham Fish & Chip Shop
32 High St, Debenham, StowmarketA great place to go for some very nice fish and chips made to order. Has a large menu with lots on offer. The only gripe is that like all other fish and chip shops, it's not a comfortable place to wait in while your food is prepared.
