Great place with lively atmosphere but for crying out loud get more staff at peak times. Your company loses out on sales and people get naked that they queue three deep for a drink. My advice... get two rounds in so your have a pint to drink while you wait in the queue for a third!

Not for us. Staff were unfriendly at best. It was quite dirty and dusty. We ate quickly and left. Cheap prices, cheap food but tasted ok. No parking. Didn't like the atmosphere with men swearing loudly.

Quite possible the worst tasting food I’ve ever eaten.. well actually did not eat!! You are better off going to Iceland round the corner for a microwave meal because that’s exactly what it tastes like.. don’t waste your money. No staff wearing masks, table and menus were dirty, wish I never stepped foot inside!!Wouldn’t be surprised if I’ve returned home with food poisoning or covid at this rate :( stay away!!

The food was fresh and enjoyable, and the staff were pleasant. On the downside, the floor was extremely sticky and unclean. Our feet actually stuck to it when we walked across the pub, so that could do with a more regular cleaning. The amount of flat screen TVs playing football was overwhelming and inescapable. Given their proximity to the tables, and their size, they ruin the atmosphere, and are an annoying distraction if you are there for any other reason than to watch the football. As most of the tables were empty, the vast majority of these TVs were not being watched at all, and could have been turned off, and only turned back on again on request.

Extremely expensive drinks here. Was much better visiting one of the other non-chain pubs that were much cheaper for the same drink.

So friendly and welcoming and super dog friendly. Even giving our dog a suagage after his dinner. Food was great and perfect for my 11 year old pallet burgers n pizza . I enjoyed the club wrap too. Will be back thankyou.

Clean pub dogs allowed in food & drink a bit over priced for what you get. Staff very friendly and polite service was fairly quick

A local pub for local people and a homage to Mauldons brewery. Win / win.

Came in for a lunch date on Saturday 29th May. Really impressed with the Covid-19 regulations being followed and table service was speedy. I had nachos, sweet potato fries, and a really lovely coconut cocktail. The food was fresh and tasty.I'm not a huge sports fan, so brought my book - but there are plenty of tables to choose from so you don't have to sit near a screen if you don't want to. I imagine this place has an awesome atmosphere when it's busier and has an event on so I'll be back to find out!
