“This cafe had been highly recommend to me by my guvnor, so decided to pop in on my way home from holiday, lady behind the counter was very pleasant and took my order, I'll be honest I way rather shocked that for 4 of us the bill came out at a shade under 60 quid.
Drinks came out in a timely fashion, but sadly food took longer and my coffee had been drunk.
The breakfast was of a good quality as was the burgers.
All in all, very nice, but perhaps the place to feed a family”

“My daughter held her wedding reception here on Saturday and I have to congratulate all the staff on their kindness, efficiency and attention to detail! The afternoon and evening ran like clockwork, from the welcome drinks to the canapes to the hot buffet, the food was excellent. They accommodated the band and made sure they were fed at half time! All in all the evening was a night to remember. Thank you Captains Table!”

“This meal was ok for a snack but you shouldn’t go in there for a full meal. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was ok because once you took a look around you find wasp traps filled with dead wasps and it makes it uncomfortable while eating in there”

“My favourite stop on any bike ride even if its only a few miles from home. Its just a really nice place to stop and sit for a while with a nice coffee and a bit of cake. Very friendly and generous owner and staff. Best cafe in town IMHO ?.”
