Wilford Bridge Rd, Melton, Woodbridge9 of us went for mother's day lunch, the service was impeccable, all the staff were so friendly and actually looked happy to be there. They were constantly walking around looking for the next thing that needed doing.
The food was amazing, 6 of us had the roast, 2 enjoyed a suet pudding and 1 a burger. My roast turkey was so moist, with a decent amount of roast potatoes and vegetables, my only little thing, the roast potatoes could have been a little bit more done. I had crumble for dessert, wow one of the best ever. With lots of fruit and a really crunchy topping. I asked for extra custard as it was a very small pot. Definitely worth another visit. Thank you

I’ve visited many times and it never disappoints - the steak is always cooked just right and full of flavour. Honestly, it doesn’t compare to other steak restaurants I’ve tried. The staff are amazing too. Everyone is friendly, and the waitress is always welcoming from the moment you walk in.
I keep coming back because I know I’ll always have a great meal and a lovely experience. Highly recommend! ☺️?

If you're looking for top-quality takeaway, Zorbas is the place to go! I’ve ordered from here several times now, and it never disappoints. The pizza is always piping hot, loaded with fresh toppings, and the crust has the perfect balance of crispy and chewy. You can tell they care about what they serve, every bite tastes like it was made with love.
But the real star? The kebabs. Juicy, flavourful, and grilled to perfection. The meat is tender and seasoned beautifully, and the portion sizes are more than generous. Pair it with their fresh salad and homemade sauces, and you're in for a treat!
The service is always friendly and efficient. Zorbas goes above and beyond, and it shows in both their food and customer care.
If you haven’t tried Zorbas yet, you’re seriously missing out. This is easily one of the best takeaways in Rendlesham. Can’t recommend it enough!

Chicken and mushroom pie, chips,veg and gravy with apple crumble and custard to follow. All really good food and washed down with a pint of Suffolk pride. Staff were friendly and very efficient. It may be a little bit hidden but definitely worth the effort.

When you walk in the door you are immediately at the bar which made a point of congestion for pretty much everyone. That's the price you pay for old quaint pubs. The service was good but nothing to write home about.
There's clearly a history here and the location is good, being close to the cinema, railway and river. Plenty of parking at the nearby leisure centre.

But as soon as we walked inside, we were relieved! Nice cosy atmosphere, excellent service and lovely food although fairly expensive. For the price I would expect a good looking pub! There's a lot of competition out there, so it's a shame they don't pay more attention to the exterior!

The Station House, Station Rd, WoodbridgeIf ever there was a goldmine, surely, in catering terms,this must be it. At 1.30 on a dull February Sunday afternoon, hardly a seat to be had, either indoors or out, with regulars booking most of the tables ahead. But wait! A foursome was leaving and if I could be clear by 2.30, the table was mine. Perfect - as I was attending a show at the Riverside Cinema next door at exactly that time.
It had to be the roast pork Sunday lunch for £17. It wasn't just the enormous plate of food that arrived, they supplied a side plate with yummy crackling, apple sauce, creamy parsnip puree and a jug of extra gravy too.
There were so many vegetables on the plate of food, I have almost lost count but they included carrots, shredded red cabbage, roasties, broccoli and cauliflower cheese. Impressive.
We are not talking cordon bleu cookery here, just good quality home cooking done well.
Add to that really friendly and very efficient staff and no wonder the place was packed.
As a footnote, I asked the boss if she'd be interested in having a booking from my u3a Sunday lunch group. She was very apologetic, her regulars wouldn't be happy if they couldn't get their normal tables.

The choice was exceptional ... all of the usual options plus lamb shanks, devilled kidneys (I had both!), salmon and a couple of others. Everything was beautifully presented and well cooked. The owner was serving and very attentive, circulating to check in with every table. Desserts were interesting and quite luxurious, both traditional (hot and cold) and more modern. The only downside for us was the cost. With a beer and glass of wine, our two courses came to a little over £80, and we thought it was a bit pricey compared to other places we've been to recently.

When we paid our drinks bill on board we were surprised to be given. 10% service charge on everything including the prepaid food. Nothing about this on the leaflet..
