Subbled upon this place when another local coffe shop was cued up out the door. We didn't want to wait an hour for a coffee so look for other places near by. Sooo glad we did. It's an amazing location, with stunning views over river. I noticed they serve beer on tap so will be back for a few drinks for sure. They also have a few vegan cakes amongst the cake selection, if you like that sort of thing.

Lovely Cafe. Got a bar as well. Great views across the river. Inside and outside tables. Bar as well. Binoculars free to use. Had a great coffee and Soup. But, bit disappointed soup came in a cup. And roll with it could of been better. The soup was lovely. Service very friendly. Recommended.

Stopped here for a bit to eat on our river walk back from Woodbridge to Melton.The food was average. But the surroundings and view of the river made up for it. There is a bar should you want an alcoholic drink.

Been meaning to come here for a long time and finally made it today. Love the concept, love the location, but it was just missing that wow factor. It cost £19 for a Sausage roll, Cheese scone, half Cider and a Hot Chocolate. All of which was nice,but not nice enough to make me think I'll come back and spend that money again.

Brilliant! We couldn't resist such a quirky, interesting place to have breakfast. Such lovely staff and equally lovely food (we had bacon with pancakes and maple syrup and our dog had some 'dog sausage') made everything pretty perfect! A fantastic view from our table became even better when the waiter presented us with some binoculars to look out over the river, what more could you ask for. What a fab way to start the day. Thanks guys!

We were welcomed on board, service was quick, polite and friendly. Our food was excellent and reasonably priced. I had eaten half of my cream cheese scone before I took the photo. Dog friendly and had a menu for dogs.

Love this place. Typical cafe grub (but with some not so typical, real tasty treats, such as their home made sausage rolls), great location, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, great service.Prices are a little steep, however, worth every penny.
We have just had lunch, arriving by river. We could not have had a better trip - lovely food, great welcome, tour of the vessel and a convenient landing spot for our little tub.

A hidden gem! Came across it quite by accident whilst on a walk. Fantastic location and atmosphere. Only had a drink as we had already eaten, but will certainly be back to try the food!

This is a wonderful find - a floating cafe on the banks of the River Deben. The proprietor was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the boat (formerly a gun boat) and has provided games for families (chess, battleships) as well as an excellent range of binoculars with which to observe the birds feeding on the river. We came back three times!Kid-friendliness: Excellent games to while away the time, and binoculars provided to view the water fowl on the River Deben
