“A small town pub with a charm. It's very compact and spills onto the pavement with a few seats and sun shades.
When you walk in the door you are immediately at the bar which made a point of congestion for pretty much everyone. That's the price you pay for old quaint pubs. The service was good but nothing to write home about.
There's clearly a history here and the location is good, being close to the cinema, railway and river. Plenty of parking at the nearby leisure centre.”

“The Angel in Woodbridge isn’t polished, and that’s exactly its charm. Out back, a burger van smokes in the garden, turning out something greasy and good enough to justify another pint. Inside, it’s rough around the edges scuffed floors, a little worn, the kind of place that doesn’t bother hiding its mileage. You drink a Camden Hells, cold and sharp, and realize this isn’t a pub for posing. It’s a pub for living messy, loud, imperfect, and better for it.”
