First experience of the pub, food took over an hour, even though the pub was empty. The second time we were served the wrong drinks.Overall though both experiences was good, the food was yummy and the pub was warm and cozy.

Lovely pub with great family friendly food options. Came for Sunday lunch and all plates were brilliantly put together. Only critique would be that service was rather slow (we were a large group, but it still felt decidedly drawn out).

I stopped at The Coach & Horses with some family for breakfast recently, and throughly enjoyed the experience. The breakfast menu is small but features everything that you could possibly want.I had the Full English Breakfast and really enjoyed it. It was well cooked and was the portion was generous. Service was friendly and efficient and I thought the prices were very fair for the quality of the breakfast.

We took advantage of the midweek ‘three courses for £20’ offer at the Coach & Horses recently. The food was great and very generously portioned, so it was excellent value for money. I had the halloumi chips to start, fish goujons for main and the panna cotta for dessert. Service was quite rude from our waiter at first, but he was a little warmer by the end of our meal. We’ll definitely be back for another midweek meal soon.

Always my favourite place to eat with my children. Food is fantastic and good portions too.

Not the usual standard we’d expect from Deben Inns. Service was slow and our waiter was boarder line rude. Food was not to there usual standard.. overall very disappointed.

We needed somewhere for lunch on our drive from Essex and this easily found establishment suited our requirements admirably. My wife enjoyed her Crown of Lamb immensely, and I enjoyed my Fillet of Salmon, followed by Creme Brulee, and my "take away diy" apple and rhubarb crumble. It was a pleasure to be so well served by the tall, impressive Gyuri, and his colleagues. Many thanks to you all.

No vegan mains. Such a shame as lovely pubs and a great walk between them all. They are aware of vegan options as they do have a starter, which means they just haven't bothered providing a main for vegans. Odd decision.

Sister chose this for a low key 70th birthday celebration. Only five of us. One vegetarian chose the set menu , very good value, the rest had a la carte. Good choices, friendly , efficient service from all the staff. Three had 3 courses!!!! Cost was reasonable, given quality and presentation of food.Very fond of all the Deben Inns. Had not been to the Coach and Horses for some years. Will try not to leave it so long. Thank you .

Excellent meal, nice atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff. Was asked for comments on my main course from the specials board as planning to put on main menu, couldn't fault it and thoroughly recommended. Have passed this establishment on previous visit to area without calling in, I won't be passing it again without visiting it!

We went mid afternoon to celebrate sister’s 70th birthday, her choice of time and venue she wanted low key. Good choice both set menu, a la carte and specials . The service was friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our choices. Only 2 of us managed all 3 courses…The 2 vegetarians found choices to suit. 2 of us had the venison wellington. We hadn’t been for a while. Hope to return sooner. Love Deben Inns, and they all have their own personality. Thank you. Relaxed dining, good value and service.

We had booked as my friend had been previously and said how lovely it was.! We arrived on time it was busy even tho it was Wednesday. We waited patiently and eventually shown to our table...we were chatting away and then both realised it had been over 30mins and we hadn't even been given menu's let alone offered a drink! I had to go and ask someone. We ordered from the special menu and wanted the starter made into a main this seemed a bit of a challenge to say the least and we were told this would not be a special and would cost more but didn't give us a price!!!! We were not worried about cost but it was not very hospitable at all. The food came wasn't much bigger than a starter and we were charged for what I would class an expensive main! Falafel is not an expensive dish. Won't hurry back!!!
