A lovely pub in a lovely setting with excellent well priced food. The sticky toffee pudding in particular was excellent and all the food was tasty and very well presented on the plate. All of the staff were polite and informative. All in all a real gem of a pub!
On the off chance I book a late table Saturday night. To say we had a wonderful meal is an understatement it was stunning and I mean stunning. The staff and landlord made the perfect night. See you very soon. And it's just down the road.

A delicious lunch , nicely served and just the right amount of attention. We both had starters , I had mackerel pate and my husband the chicken liver ….. Followed by a delicious steak and kidney pudding and crispy Sutton hoo chicken , simply so tasty ! The lemon roulade was just right too. Compliments to the chefs for the care taken with the presentation. A fair price for a very pleasant lunch ….thank you .
