We had a Sunday lunch with starters, mine was prawn cocktail which was fresh and very tasty with lovely chunky bread followed by turkey roast with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, brocoli, bacon wrapped stuffing, all topped off with the most delicious gravy, I asked for extra gravy as I like a good amount which was given freely. I would thoroughly recommend this public house to all who appreciate good quality food served up by very obliging staff. This is the second time of going for lunch and it most certainly will not be the last.

Arrived for lunch and was not disappointed. Very well looked after by Kari and Emily. Service was swift, polite and very friendly. I Had the Beef and Red Wine pie and chips with vegetables. Pie was massive and delicious. My wife had the fishcakes, also divine. Highly recommended menu. If you have room, the dessert menu was very enticing!!

This lovely pub has it all from oak beams and fireplaces with spacious comfy seating to lovely outdoor spaces situated just outside Woodbridge. Varied menu with something to suit everyone. Excellent food with full marks for quality and freshness. Staff welcoming and great service from Haley who certainly went the extra mile to making four friends have an enjoyable evening.

A group of 8 of us were celebrating a friend's birthday. We were very impressed with the meal and the service. Carrie was efficient, friendly and welcoming. My steak was perfectly cooked, medium rare and larger than expected. The hot drink with mini pud completed the meal beautifully. We all said that we would definitely return !

The Duke of York had been recommended to us so we thought we have an early dinner on the August Bank holiday Monday, on arrival I was shocked at the overgrown lawn where tables and chairs were available for people to use, as it was such a lovely day we wanted to sit outside so we had a table on the patio. I was a bit hesitated to go in with the state of the lawn as it didn't give a good impression and you wonder how the rest would be, but we are pleased to say we received a very warm and immediate welcome, serve was very good, we did not have to wait long and the food - main meal and desert were very good. Looking at the menu I was impressed with what they offer like nibbles to purchase while you browse the menu and seeing you can have a mini pud with coffee which I thought was a great idea for those who want a desert but can't or watching the calories to eat a normal portion size. We thought the decor was lovely inside and even the toilets were nice clean and smelt nice. We just feel it needs a gardener to cut the grass and kept the shrubs neat and tidy as it gives a poor impression to what is a lovely venue with great service & thought for its customers we will definitely be back.

Came for the first time yesterday for lunch. Lush venue, great food with good variety. We were served my Sheridan and kari who were so friendly. They knew the menu well and couldn’t have been more helpful. I will not hesitate to return
The Duke of York is always a favourite for Lunch with my elderly aunt. Plenty of parking and a nice open plan seating provides a lovely setting for a light lunch. Staff are always welcoming and there’s a great selection food on offer. Kari served us today and was polite, prompt and served with a smile. We’ll be back again soon.

Me and my family attended on Sunday and were served by, Connor, Chloe and Kirsty. All were extremely friendly, the food was so good that you didn’t hear a peep from us until we were all finished (we’re a talkative bunch). The drinks were lovely and our deserts were beautifully presented. Will be eating here again soon!
