I took my teenage grandchildren for dinner. The food was fine although it took 45mins for a sharing platter and a couple of other sides to arrive. While we were waiting staff chatting loudly, swearing and making retching noises which I found very offensive.I would have complained on the day but my grandchildren had been embarrassed enough by the behaviour they witnessed. Won't be going back.

Today 25.12.23 I had Christmas dinner, we were a family of 5, the food was amazing so tasty big potions, the staff couldn't do enough for us and the atmosphere was lovely. We were treated like family. We have had may meals here which have all been nice. But today felt extra special. We will definitely be booking Christmas dinner here again.

So very welcoming to us and our barky pooches. The steak sandwich and the chicken sandwich were delightful.

The food that we got was brilliant, but they had lots of items on the menu that were unavailable, and they were clearly very understaffed as the wait times were very long. The staff they did have were lovely, though, and trying their best.

The sausage in the food was hard as a rock so it was unedible. Not satisfied with the chef at this point. The service was amazing, they are kind and caring especially Mike.Kid-friendliness: They care about the kids and are nice to them.

Dreadful, will never come here again. Ordered a trio and a pork roast. Very dry. No crackling came with trio, and a soggy crackling came with the pork. Asked the waiter that menu stated a 'crispy crackling ' does come with a trio, and he checked with the chef and came back saying the chef is sure he did put it on the plate. He did not . Asked for mustard never came. The old lady next to us also complained her meal was terrible.

First time visiting here and the service did not disappoint. All of the bar staff were very attentive & there was a wide variety of drinks on offer. Think I may need to shrink to fit in next time as the ceilings are all made for people under 5ft ?Would visit again.

Great and well decorated, cozy pub with lots of seating, tellies with sports on, quiet but nice music playing, good selection of beers and delicious food. The service is like no other. The staff are all very polite and friendly too.

Do not go to this pub for sports match’s watching. We checked that the game would be on when we got there and booked in advance. When we got there they wouldn’t put it on because of other guests. It was a nice and clean but not a vibe at all if you’re watching sports.

We visited the greyhound almost a year ago and the food, service and atmosphere was just amazing so we decided to come back a month or so later but did not receive the same level of service or food - we put this down to a one off bad day possibly so we tried again a few times but still met with the same outcome things not available on the menu slow service and 1 staff member very rude and almost made us feel like we were an issue coming in but alas we thought we would try one final time this weekend as this is our local, however once we placed our order the food took over an hour to come out a when it did beef was so thick and over cooked it was hard to swallow - we asked for some cocktails from the NEW cocktail menu only to be told 3 out of the 4 we ordered were not available. We ordered sweet chilli sausages while we waited that didn’t even come until the mains were served and sausage so burnt it was BLACK Other people in the pub just giving up and leaving because food was taking so long.We actually saw 1 of the chefs returning from co op with bags of aunt Bessie’s Yorkshire puddings and aunt Bessie’s roast potatos ! I could have made a whole roast at home if I knew this was the case for less than what I paid here and most likely could have had it quickerThe parsnip was just a huge undercooked I’d assume frozen parsnip couldn’t even cut into it so had to just take it off the plate and leave it on the sideI think we’ve given it a fair shot and will not be returning now

The service, customer care & the quality of food was excellent. Myself, partner and my family enjoyed the experience without any complications whatsoever. The menu, flavour and quality of the food was outstanding. Our waitress of the evening was "Carly" who was absolutely outstanding in all areas, the ambience of the whole event was very relaxing. The prices to dine are very reasonable, the drinks again very reasonable. Our complete party of 6 enjoyed the whole evening, we shall return. I highly recommend this establishment ! Thank you for such a lovely meal and relaxing dining experience !
