I was very impressed with the food from here, highly recommended. The fish and chips were cooked freshly to order, and both were cooked just right. Nice crunchy batter on the fish with fresh, tender cod inside. The chips were nice and thick cut and had a crispy outside with soft potato inside. Even after a 15 minute drive home they hadn’t gone soggy like they tend to from some other places. Cod, small chips and mushy peas cost £11.80 which is more than most charge local places...read full review

Just passing through today and we fancied a bag of chips. Wasn’t expecting much as the shop was very quiet. Our order was taken and was cooked fresh. The portion was more than generous and must say that they were almost certainly the best chips we have ever tasted anywhere, so good I went back to thank the chap serving. If ever in the area again, will make a bee-line for this chippy and try out their fish. Simple pleasures, but so very, very good. Well done…
