I was very disappointed, myself and my wife wanted a quiet meal, unfortunately there was a table of 6 to 8 women who were very loud and the language used was disgusting, in addition to this two of the women were vaping and the smell of the contents could be smelt throughout the restaurant. At no time were they asked to respect other users and it will be a long time before we use the restaurant again. The meal was not great and my wife's food was warm at best, considering we spent £140 this was not good value for the money. Even the waiter said he was surprised we stayed as long as we did when I was paying the bill.

Booked for 7.30 waited 10mins to be seated, noisy roudey atmosphere, service was poor had to wave at servers to get attention.food was average. Just an expensive version of Zizi’s won’t be going again.

One cannot visit an Italian restaurant without trying pizza, and Ciao Italia certainly knows how to make a stellar one. I ordered the Margherita pizza, and it was a masterpiece. The crust was thin and crispy, the tomato sauce was vibrant and tangy, and the melted mozzarella cheese was simply divine. It was a true taste of Italy in every bite.

WakeManager of Ciao Italia took 2 weeks to get back to me when I requested a quote. Had to chase. Manager then sent me an exorbitant quote from a ‘cafe’ email for afternoon tea. I replied requesting to reduce the quantity and the alcohol. I didn’t receive a reply. Manager went on holiday. The food was clearly from an outside caterer. Far too much food, endless jugs of alcohol, glass cups with hot water with tea bags next to them for cups of tea. Forced to pay huge bill by staff at end of the wake for my mother. Staff claimed they had not received my email requesting less.Afterwards eventually manager admitted that she had sent the quote from the wrong email and had never received my request to reduce the order. Took over a month to give me a very limited refund.Apparently this restaurant do lots of wakes. I feel totally taken advantage off and ripped off. Made a stressful and upsetting day even worse.

We throughly enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent. The reason to go to a restaurant is for the food. Everything thing else that is good is a bonus.

Lovely fresh food all bought to our table of 8 people at the same time! Delicious!

Excellent meal with attentive service and one of the few restaurants open on a Monday!

We like this restaurant and do go regularly as the food is always good. The service was very average this time around. Waiting for the mains before the starter plates are removed. Having to ask for new cutlery etc... its not a cheap place. So, onto the next point. These are top restaurant prices but it's not really a top restaurant so I have to question the value for money. We will think twice about going back if we want a special night out.

Delicious food and excellent service. Friendly and welcoming environment. The crab linguine and gamberetti cocktail (prawn cocktail) were way above average! My husband particularly liked his veal, sauteed potatoes and courgettes and ice cream and espresso. The house white wine was excellent- Delle Venezie Pinot Grigio. We would thoroughly recommend Ciao Italia.

We came here, to celebrate a friend's birthday and we all enjoyed a very delicious lunch, served by attentive staff. At the end of the meal, they even brought a plate of profiteroles and sang to the birthday girl - a lovely touch!
