Good prices and lovely location. You can sit on the lakeside, watch the water and people playing golf whilst eating and enoying a beer. Conscious it's a bit busy today here but, the waiting time...almost finished my beer and the food is not here yet.Would definitely recommend for a relaxing afternoon. The staff is also nice. The bartender is a bit forgetful but in a funny way.Keep up the good workJust finished eating and whilst the portion are a bit small compared to what I'm used and the price, the food was really tasty and fresh. If only I could give more than 5 stars

I ordered a full English Breakfast and was very disappointed at the tiny portion of baked beans that were served in a ramekin. When I asked could I have more beans please they said NO, and that If I wanted more that they would have to charge me extra for it!! Baked beans are the cheapest ingredient in a Full English, and rather than simply keeping a customer happy and giving me more beans, the waiter was asking for more money even after charging me £10.95 for the Full English! To add insult to injury I even got charged a 10% service charge too!!! I left this place disgruntled and unhappy. Poor service and very bad attitude towards customers and their experience of the establishment. Terrible!!!

We had our wedding at Silvermere - Inn on the Lake and we couldn't be happier with how our day turned out. From the planning stages right up until the day after the wedding, the team were so helpful and accommodating to all our needs. The food was second to none, and even now a week after the event, our guests are still talking about it! All of the events staff at Silvermere were great in particular our wedding coordinator Abbie, Jamie, and Robert (Master of Ceremonies). And also all of the waiting staff on the day, in particular Henry. The venue itself is very beautiful and picturesque. We were able to have lots of unique and special pictures by the lake and the wooded areas of the grounds. We would highly recommend this venue to all!Thank again to everybody at Silvermere - Inn on the Lake.Jodi & Gary07.05.2022

We love the Inn On The Lake it's a pleasant and relaxing place to have a nice meal, but today was a real disappointment they were not doing Sunday roast in the downstairs bar area. We really used to enjoy going there and having a nice Sunday roast at a reasonable price. We were asked if we would like to have the three course Sunday roast upstairs but the price being over £31 each was not what we were looking for. Such a shame we will be looking for somewhere else for Sunday lunch in future.

I needed food in anticipation of a shopping spree at the golf shop!! Lovely setting by the lake. Fish & chips and burger with a few extras . Quick service and very tasty. A bit on the pricey side, this with 2 pots of tea , £43. I’d still go again.

Been here many times over the years, but last couple of times been a bit under par! I met two friends tonight for dinner and catch up, at 6 pm so not late, when ordering we were told they had run out of chunky chips, a vital part of a majority of meals, also no garlic bread, the service was slow and unhelpful, the restaurant was not busy so no excuse for poor service, when we had finished our meals we asked for coffee, after waiting ages for someone to serve us we were informed that the coffee machine was now being cleaned and was unavailable! So we asked for the bill, when we got the bill we were miffed that it included a service charge, as there was only three of us and we had not received any kind of service to speak of we asked for this to be removed, another member of staff then returned with a new bill but for the same amount we refused to pay and asked to see the manager, the same person returned with a revised bill but no manager and obviously no apology for our bad experience. We will not return and certainly not recommend this place?

Ordered a Cuban sandwich which was divine! Service was very poor - the food redeemed the rating. It wasn’t overly busy so can’t understand why it took half hour for drinks

Rarely leave reviews but this experience was so poor, very rushed and rude service, can see why they put service charge on the bill as if they did not then they would struggle to get any gratuities. The scrambled egg was particularly shocking like you would get on an airline or worse. Clearly understaffed and just rely on their location rather than quality of service or food. Value for money poor in this instance.

Besides the two lovely waitresses. What a truly unwelcoming experience.Asked if I had a reservation and explained that I’m sorry that I hadn’t booked but wondered if there was a table for us to sit with our dog. His response was blunt and to the point that yes, they did have a table but his concern was that he had to turn other people away because of me.To the older man with the glasses, thanks but no thanks. I’ve never been made to feel like I shouldn’t be somewhere and if I could have scored a 0, I would.

To start we have been going to the Silvermere Inn On The Lake for many years 1-2 a month and have seen a few good changes, my wife and I when 15/03 @5pm shown to a table and asked to pay before i have my meal? or run a tab , 10mins later after trying to get service ( few customers) to order the drinks and order our meals , my wife ordered a Tea normally comes in a pot, no a tea bag on the side of a cup with hot water?, the food was ok but the service staff incredibly poor, if your looking for a café type service but a restraint price its for you but not for us , customer though put must be poor. contactless payment , poor wifi: three times tried Bill Childs

It was a good experience. The food was nice the service was friendly and the price was good compared to similar places. There is outdoor seating which must be very nice by the lake in good weather. In the larger seating area there is also a TV set for sports etc. Green everywhere with the lake view, definetely worth a visit if you are looking for places to eat nearby. You can also book the venue for events as well. One thing though they have to clean the tables better as they were sticky.

I really enjoyed having lunch at this venue. The setting is pleasant next to a lake. Even though it was busy, I felt quite safe as there was sufficient space between us and the other diners. Comparing it to local establishments, I felt that the menu choice was adequate and fairly priced for the quality of the food. The portions were generous. I'd even go so far as to say that like for like, it offers better value than other restaurants in the area that I've visited recently. I would definitely return and look forward to introducing my other friends to this discovery.

Very busy on a Friday lunchtime, so it is best to book ahead. The WI had taken up a side room which must've reduced the chance of 'walk-ins' getting a table. Just two of us so we were happy anywhere and I think we got the last one available at 11:30 - all others were reserved. We didn't eat as it was just a late morning cuppa, but what was appearing from the kitchen looked delicious. We must go back to eat.

Nice and friendly staff, great food.Recommend the Sea Bass but I'll skip the wings or burgers.Waited about 15 to 20 minutes (that is more than decent).Clean and pleasant.Definitely a place to return.Prices for everyone.

Our Keep Fit group had to postpone their Christmas celebration meal due to Covid in December. Abbie re-booked the event for the end of January and all that attended had a lovely evening. The staff on the night were excellent and the food suburb. I checked all plates and they were clear :). There were 18 of us. Would recommend
