Had a driver fitting about 10 months ago and had to return the driver with a fault. The manager dealt with me personally and promised to try and resolved by the weekend. Amazingly got the call back today, the club supplier has agreed to swap the driver head and I am going to pick the club up tomorrow. Excellent service and I am very impressed that they managed to deliver in less than a week.

I agree with most earlier praises.The only disappointment was the custom fitting for which I paid an hour's time. The pro was skilled and friendly. The choice of drivers and shafts was impressive. However, just after 30 minutes or so, the Pro said it was time to go as another customer was waiting. I wanted more hits with my old driver and proposed new one. I wanted a copy of the results. But after a few more hits it was time to go with still almost 20 minutes left and uncertainty in my mind.. It was what I came for but now will see my club's pro to find the driver that suits.

We have been Inn on the Lake abd it was a good experience. The food was nice the service was friendly and the price was good compared to similar places. There is outdoor seating which must be very nice by the lake in good weather. In the larger seating area there is also a TV set for sports etc. Green everywhere with the lake view, definetely worth a visit if you are looking for places to eat nearby. You can also book the venue for events as well.

The store alone is EPIC, the best around Sussex and Surrey, so much choice in store across clubs, shoes, clothing and not that I use it but a decent section for ladies.I’ve not used the facilities, but I’ve have brought from the shop and I thought their customer service was excellent. I had an issue with some FJ shoes I brought a few months back and the process of returning was so smooth and easy. I’m a big fan of customer service, so it’s safe to say Silvermere will be one of the first places I go to for anything golf.Also, get yourself a free privilege card as it comes with some benefits.

Lovely facilities all around. However, Course can get very wet which makes it unplayable and fairways with leaves in autumn/winter mean even the straightest of tee shots = lost balls. Picturesque finishing holes 17 and 18 over water back to the “club house” that serves amazing food in a great setting. Shop is huge with a vast selection of clothes and clubs etc. recently had a club fitting here and that went very smoothly and I’m extremely happy with my wedges (except I wasn’t told they had arrived so waited 2.5 weeks longer than I needed to - but accidents happen). Driving range is a little pricey but has trackman and automatic ball on tee which is a nice touch. All in all lovely place to come.

We hosted a family 50th in the function room and from start to finish, Silvermere were amazing. Tannaz was super organised, professional and flexible with our menu choices and changing numbers due to Covid. We liked the bar in the function room and outside patio. The canapes, mains and deserts were delicious and Henry, Anna Maria & Alfie were a superb crew. DJ Mark from ENI was the best I’ve ever had and kept the dance floor rocking. Would highly recommend this venue and team.

Had a steak meal was not good poor quality grisly chewy. Asked for the bill after 10 minutes finished going to the bar and getting my self, changed 10 % which was meant to be optional and was not asked very disappointing will not be returning.

Certainly one of my go-to courses as I don't affiliate with any club and the pay and play is of reasonable value and in terms of availability. The front 6 holes is more like a woodland course and the 17th & 18th are signature holes. The rest is more like a parkland course, slightly hilly. Overall a decent but not too technical course.The restaurant and terrace area is fantastic. The lake view is the highlight and perfect place to witness some great or not-so-great approach shots onto the 17th and 18th greens. Perfect for gatherings and parties although I do find its often short-staffed.The golf shop is one of the best and its well-stocked. Staffs can be bit more friendlier have to be said, although I find this aspect has improved lately.Range is good too and plenty of practice greens. Also perfect for fitting and tour truck days.

Just had my fathers wake there. Very pleasant staff, good food & it was 13 years ago Mum & Dad celebrated their Golden Wedding at Silvermere - so very fitting that we went back. Not many marriages last 63 wonderful years.

Called in for lunch, sensibly priced. Very efficient, very welcoming. A fabulous setting overlooking the Lake. The Golf Course looked very inviting. A really nice experience all round.

Fantastic golfing facilities. Husband had club fitting in cutting edge facilities. Biggest mega store for golfing goods I have ever been in. Two storey driving range which is automated and has ball tracking device to see what you are doing. Lovely Inn on the lake for drinks, food etc.Would definitely recommend.

Such a beautiful course and venue. Being a left handed golfer like myself, I totally appreciate the left handed store and the stock it holds. That paired with the driving range kitted with toptracer made it so simple to test out clubs which is always difficult for someone like me. Such good value for a full round also. I’ll be back soon!

Great course and great value for money. For a public course there aren't many better around. The 17th and 18th are over the lake and are so beautifully picturesque and to top it off you can have a beer and lovely food whilst overlooking the final 2 holes.

Played here yesterday for the first time in a few years. What a disappointment. Greens, tee boxes and fairways were all in a dreadful state - no idea what their green keepers have been doing while the course has been closed for the best part of a year. Such a shame because the course has a lot going for it, just poorly looked after.

Had a custom fitting for irons a hybrid a driver and wedges today from Jamie Northcote in the custom fitting centre. I'm currently playing off a 24 handicap I thought can they really improve my game that much being such a high handicap? I must say was absolutely blown away by the level of detail that Jamie put into my fitting even from breaking down my swing to little details such as grip shaft weight and and length also ball striking. I must admit I was apprehensive and very nervous to start with but Jamie was thoroughly professional throughout and really helped me achieve the potential of my swing and I feel I walked away with lots of vital info to help my game along with a better understanding of where I'm going wrong. Id advise any high handicapper that's perhaps thinking people may laugh or somebody that's maybe too nervous to go and have a fit to definitely just go for it as it will give you vital info and pointers that you could be missing out on to help improve your game . So a big thank you to Jamie Northcote and the silvermere golf facility for making my fitting experience reassuring fulfilling and very rewarding i'm really looking forward to receiving my new clubs now regards Ian Rodber
