Great food, and nice vibe. Staff are a little bit pushy.

We ordered for delivery as I'm poorly and this was a rare moment of finding somewhere that will actually deliver. However, it was one of the worst curries we've ever had.The Korma was bland and the sauce gritty. For £10 we got 5 small bits of chicken and a whole load of gritty sauce. We also ordered a chicken lababdar which was one of the worst we've ever had. No flavour just a really sharp, unbearable spice ( I like hot food) but this was terrible. Not a creamy curry as described. The naans were overcooked and hard with again no peshawari flavour. For nearly £50 I expected so much more.Lesson learned and we shall return to Spice who's curries are far superior.

The restaurant itself is beautifully set out, the decor is up to date and very attractive, low lighting and mood music very nice. Was really looking forward to a lovely meal however service was slow, onion bhaji was stale the meal itself although hot and nicely cooked was totally bland, very disappointed, such a shame.

Use these guys regularly for their great takeaway service and very occasionally dine in. We have always enjoyed our experience at the Rania. Keep up the great work.

There was hardly anyone there. But as atmospheres go it's always a nice place to eat.

I’m a curry snob and this was one of the best made and tastiest Indian meals I’ve had in years! A Tava Chicken made with fresh spices, ‘pumped up’ to madras heat; and a fabulous Keema Naan on the side. I can’t say enough about this meal, the flavours were obvious and the chilli just right. We will definitely be returning here. The staff were excellent, too. Recommended!

Attentive staff and excellent food! Could do with bigger tables though. ?

It was ok. Lovely place to eat. Foot was quite bland, flavourless. Tasty poppadoms. Very expensive.

Visit Rania often. Repeated visits because the food is consistently great and the service is excellent. The Lahore lamb is not on any other menus I know and is so tasty. They will adjust an order to suit like we want to order eg garlic rice. Generally the staff are very friendly, and the manager Shahab is most convivial.

Very disappointing. For the second time in 2 weeks I've tried placing an order online but it doesn't work. After taking 1/2 an hour, the website won't process the order. I call and they say sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Just sort it out! So I place my order over the phone and the total cost is significantly more than what it worked out to be on the website. Then I'm told that prices have increased but they haven't updated them on the website. What a waste of my time. Not going to bother ordering again.

My husband and I visited with 3 friends for a quiet evening meal and catch up. We had booked a table, but when we arrived at the restaurant many of the tables were empty. We were put on a table next to a party of about 12 people. This might have been ok but the party got quite loud. In hindsight we should have asked for another table when we arrived. After we had eaten our main course, which was very tasty, the staff offered to move us to a quieter table and we could finally have a conversation. Maybe the restaurant staff could consider filling tables further from parties when they are not full
