The Alfold Barn
Horsham Rd, CranleighI love seafood - and by that, TripAdvisor, I mean shellfish, not fish and chips - and was on the lookout for somewhere in Surrey that would satisfy my craving. To that end, I was delighted to discover the Alfold Barn. My wife and I had a fantastic meal there last night. As advised on the website for those wanting seafood here, I called a couple of days in advance to discuss what we wanted so that a suitable order for delivery on the morning could be made - and we were not disappointed, as the photo shows. It’s a lovely historic setting with friendly, attentive staff to boot. Am sure we will return.

252 High St, The Common, CranleighThe food quality is amazing and the staff are absolutely amazing, the service is always 5 star and it's clean alwaysThe only reason it's not 5 stars is because the portions fluctuate, you'll order a regular chips and cheese but get half a box one day , the other days they're full to the brimOther than that it's great . They listen to your requirements , if you're a picky eater they do try and accommodate that which is amazing

Wild & Green Kitchen
180 High St, The Common, CranleighI've been going to Wild &Green for quite some time since my daughter took me for the first time. I lived it straight away. Now, I regularly meet my colleague there for meetings, as we both work from home. The staff are so lovely, the food is great and we're welcomed warmly every time. Highly recommend.

4 High St, CranleighSuch an underrated pub. The food and cocktails were fantastic (I enjoyed the chicken schnitzel and I do recommend the cherry Bakewell cocktail). The service was quick, and professional with warm, friendly and genuine staff. Highly recommend it.

Spice Indian Takeaway
3 Ewhurst Rd, CranleighI’ve been using Spice for several years and it’s rarely disappointed.I think they have recently changed their menu or chef, and lately it has been superb.Just ordered a chicken jalfrezi, paneer Bhuna, pilau rice and saag bhaji and it’s excellent.Collection is always ready when they say it will be.Really recommend for it takeaways.

Forbidden City Chinese Chinese Take Away
Ewhurst Rd, CranleighFirst time using and will definitely use again. Ordered the Peking set meal for 3 and the portions were huge and very tasty. Smoked chicken was nice as well. Didn't mind the 35 min wait as The White Hart is next door which is handy. Parking is a bit of a pain but we found a spot down the road round the back.

Seafare
136 High St, CranleighSeafare catered for a fish and chips night at our village's cricket pavilion. We placed our order well in advance. On the night, I pitched up at the agreed time, paid the bill and was out the door with two large packing boxes full of fish and chips. Everyone at the club really enjoyed their meal and it made for a great evening. A very big thank you to the team at Seafare - they were so good to work with, everything was spot on, and the meal was delicious! Plus they managed to fit us in alongside a busy Friday evening trade. Well done!

127 High St, CranleighThis is a hidden gem. One of the best coffee shops in Guildford. They have a variety of food choices and the coffee is probably the best you can get and for a reasonable price. They have food options from English Breakfast to Turkish Breakfast. Family run business they’re doing incredible. Staff members are really friendly and knowledgeable to food they are selling.Vegetarian options: They have gluten free breakfast and care for customers who are celiac.

The White Hart Hotel

Most are processed with sugars and none are really very healthy. They use to have a bit better options but nothing vegan or vegetarian that are healthy. And the meat options are very high in sugar.
