Village Grill
252 High St, The Common, CranleighWe recently ordered chips for our Cubs group from the Village Grill takeaway shop, and the children absolutely loved them. The portion sizes were very generous, and the kindness shown by the shop was really appreciated by everyone.
The chips were fresh, tasty, and enjoyed by all the children. Thank you for your generosity and great service it made our visit extra special. We would happily recommend this takeaway to others.

Wild & Green Kitchen
180 High St, The Common, CranleighI think there may have been a problem with the cooking facilities as there was a limited menu today. Cakes and toasted sandwiches available. We had one of each and they were both delicious. Great service. Friendly staff.

Yangaz bistro grill
127 High St, Cranleighcracking atmosphere, service, and food on my recent visit to Yangaz. I was there with a friend on the day of the Cranleigh village fete (28-6-2025) and the village was positively buzzing with fun, frolicking, and festival vibes. whilst dining on a delicious panini, chips, iced coffee, and coke (midway through 90mile bike ride) we were treated to a live performance by a raven themed morris dancing group, it was fantastic. Whilst this is unlikely to be a regular occurrence, the other aspects of my experience at Yangaz would entice me sufficiently to return, delicious, fairly priced food and quick, friendly service.

Spice Indian Takeaway
3 Ewhurst Rd, CranleighOrdered at 5pm (as soon as they opened) as my mum can't eat late due to her condition for home delivery, paid over the phone was told 45 to 50 minutes, that was fine. 6.30pm phoned back told should only be 10 minutes as the driver had left. 7pm, it arrives (at last). To top it off the driver then asks do you not tip your driver. My reply was sorry not after waiting over an hour extra for delivery. I know it's not his fault but was taken back by the fact he even asked. Food was cold with little chicken will not be placing any further orders from them.
After writing the above, I was phoned by the owner who couldn't apologise enough, and asked to put things right, well after a further order and delivery I was very happy with the service and food. I will be going back in the future and appreciate the fact that they do care about there customers and feedback.

The Curry Inn 84
214-216 High St, The Common, CranleighHands down one of the best curries I’ve ever had. The taste was so good and the portion size was perfect.
The rice portions are generous enjoy to share between two (especially if a naan is involved).
They are flavour over spice, but my meal (the madras) still had a great kick to it without being over powering.

Seafare
136 High St, CranleighSeafare catered for a fish and chips night at our village's cricket pavilion. We placed our order well in advance. On the night, I pitched up at the agreed time, paid the bill and was out the door with two large packing boxes full of fish and chips. Everyone at the club really enjoyed their meal and it made for a great evening. A very big thank you to the team at Seafare - they were so good to work with, everything was spot on, and the meal was delicious! Plus they managed to fit us in alongside a busy Friday evening trade. Well done!

Costa Coffee
Unit 7, Stocklund Square, High St, The Common, CranleighLovely people who work there. high prices for little in return. And very little option towards a healthy product. Most are processed with sugars and none are really very healthy. They use to have a bit better options but nothing vegan or vegetarian that are healthy. And the meat options are very high in sugar. Disappointing when their competitors knock it out the park.Vegetarian options: Not much healthy optionsKid-friendliness: AvailableWheelchair accessibility: Heavy door you can't open very easily. And if open then easy to get in and out on a chairDietary restrictions: Limited
