Disappointing experience. We’ve bought a hotel, dinner and wine experience package for £320 which we were excited about and came with our dog - for who we paid extra £25 for. Got woken up at middle of the night by a faulty fire alarm which took some time to turn off. Then in the morning once we got to the estate for our tasting, were told that despite us informing in advance and confirming about our small dog - were told that dogs are not allowed and we are free to make our own arrangements. Basically had nothing else to do other than cancel the rest of the day and just go back to London. Ended up being a very expensive and sub par country side overnight stay. That said, the hotel itself and the staff very very nice.

It's ok lovely venue, and setting, lovely gift shop. Also lovely wine. The only criticism not much of a selection of food for lunchtime. Also did not help that I ate an out of date sandwich, which I did not notice which was stale . I have to say national trust food better

Many people are very keen on the wine from here such as international tourists I have been here with. It is expensive due to high UK tax on wine compared to the low tax in France and Spain and I would imagine to the lack of economies of scale compared to giant vineyards abroad. Also, the climate here is not right for grapes due to their need for constant sunlight so the fact that Denbies can produce any wine at all is a miracle. I have vines in my garden nearby and 2 out of 3 years the grapes just shrivel and die. Therefore, congratulations to Denbies as they obviously know much more than me!

We came for the indoor wine tasting and it was nicely done, with 4 wines tasted, a 20 minute video about the vineyard’s history, details about how wine is made, and a peek at the storage area - all taking just over an hour. We prebooked the night before, then on the day checked in at reception. It was a very easy process. They also have restaurants, vineyard tours, a large gift shop and more. The cafe had lovely cakes though the tea servings were a bit small for being a ‘large’. The gift shop had an interesting selection to peruse, including 20% off their bottled wines.Car park is large, and toilets are adequate.

Nice place to visit. Lovely long walk in and around the estate. Fabulous views of the Surrey Hills. Finished the walk looking around the farm shop and the gift shop. Just a little disappointed that everything is so expensive!

Some interesting sparkling wines. A lazy effort in pareing. No kitchen required !

The main building needs a serious refresh! The conservatory restaurant felt more like a run down garden centre, with fake plants in the middle, buffet that was slightly off putting (I felt sick after the sandwich I had) and dirty glass. This place could be so much better if they put some love into that area of the estate, as the rest is nice.

Booked Santa visit for daughter as had taken her brothers a few times before, event has gone down hill, used to be ride around the area then inside to see Santa in his little hut to get a present then a mince pie an colouring, inside was xmas display all very nice, this year a ride then stop in middle to see Santa on a deckchair with general public walking past, and other visitors in background of pictures, £60 seems a rip off the £7 squires garden centre Santa much better

Open place with a lot of facilities and shops, loved walking through the vineyards and enjoyed a glass of wine next to them.
