Went with a party size of 11 including kids for a birthday meal and walked out amazed and wishing we lived in the local area so we can become regulars!

The food is freshly prepared with high quality ingredients prepared with a fine dining flair and we would come back to try all the other dishes we didn't order. The food is accompanied by a the friendly service with a smile, which makes you feel very welcome.

Roosters is one of the rare breed of restaurants left in the country that is still run by an owner who cares about service rather than temp staff who can't wait until their shift finishes, and this makes all the difference in the experience in eating at here. Congrats and next time I am in Dorking or anywhere nearby I will be coming back!

Discovered Aroma after searching Italians in Dorking for my sons birthday and what a find!! Lovely restaurant food was amazing every course was absolutely delicious ? we must have walked pass this place so many times but haven’t noticed them as no tables taken at front of restaurant, everyone sitting in conservatory at back which is really lovely. Would say the only drawback is you could be discouraged from going in as it was completely empty at front, we thought it could be closed! That said we will definitely be back going to be one of our regular nights out! So nice to have authentic Italian food and great service would definitely recommend you try if you love Italian food ?

Absolutely outstanding Japanese cafe on Dorking high street. We had a fantastic meal. My noodles with fried tofu and vegetables were excellent while he said his gyoza were the best he'd ever eaten. We shared a sweet potato tempura as a side dish and it was delicious. Good value and high quality. Recommended.

I have been to Mullins a number of times before, My go-to place when I’m in Dorking. If I could give it a six-star-rating, I would. Lunch today confirmed great, friendly service, delicious home-made food and a really kind and caring attitude. They welcomed my small dog and brought him water and rang for a cab for us, when we left. All done in the nicest possible way. The home-made cakes looked so scrummy I was tempted to take some home - i resisted with difficulty.

Beautiful pub in a great setting. Big inside bar and restaurant areas plus seating out front, in a big side garden, back garden and covered terrace area. It was busy when we arrived on a Sunday afternoon but they managed to fit us in on the terrace. We had the mixed beef and porchetta roast and a veggie nut roast. Both were great. Best roasts we've had in ages. Would also recommend the cheesecake and key lime pie. Also a good selection of beers on tap. Will definitely be back, especially as a kids softplay has just opened up next door!

This was my mums favourite restaurant so we decided to ask The Spice Tavern to cater for her memorial at our home. We were catering for 15 people and the structuring of the menu, quantities, recommendations and service was fantastic. The delivery was on time and everything was cooked to perfection. My thanks go out to the team for helping to make our sad but special event memorable and everyone present was blown away with the explosion of flavours (and generous quantity). You all did my mum proud!

We had a brilliant Christmas meal at the Burford Bridge Restaurant with our group of 20 – honestly, the best one we’ve had in years!

The food was lovely all round, the service was great (our waitress was an absolute star), and they handled the gluten-free needs for the coeliac in our group perfectly – everyone was really happy.

The prawn cocktail was fresh and tasty with plenty of sauce. The turkey was cooked to perfection with gorgeous rich gravy, and the carrots had a subtle curry flavour that was surprisingly delicious. The chocolate torte was indulgent and properly rich – a fantastic way to finish.

I’d seen some mixed reviews online and wasn’t totally sure what to expect, but it turned out to be fantastic. Definitely recommend it for a big group celebration!

Ryka’s cafe at BoxHill, Surrey, UK has been around for donkeys years, a nice place to visit, especially if your into motorcycles and/or fast cars.
It can become very busy here in the summer and especially at weekends, more so if it’s a beautiful sunny day.
The atmosphere is very friendly and family orientated, Ryka’s cafe is situated next to the car park (at the bottom of BoxHill) toilets are also provided too, the food and beverages are really good and not too expensive, freshly cooked, the staff here are extremely good, welcoming and friendly.
The vibe here is really good and I believe you will enjoy yourselves!
Extensive outdoor seating is also provided so there are no worries getting yourself and your family seated, some indoor seating is also available.
If you so wish you can walk, drive or cycle up the nearby hill (warning, very steep uphill climb) to the top of BoxHill, from there you will be greeted by a fabulous view from the top of BoxHill looking over the counties of Surrey and West Sussex for miles and miles from the viewpoint of the North Downs.
A visit here is recommended!

This pub was a bit down at heel a few years ago but it's enjoying a renaissance. The chicken burgers are unreal, there's a lot of sport on - when I was there recently it was rugby on in the garden and football inside. Good to be in a pub with a bit of buzz to it. We have always used this Chinese takeaway since 2006 and it has gone through about three ownerships in that time. The family that run this takeaway now for the last few years have the best chefs for Chinese food in town as it just gets better and better. All food prepared fresh, tasty ingredients which can be adjusted as they only want to make their customers happy. Usually speedy service though so popular at times there can be a longer wait than anticipated. Worth the wait though, always great Chinese food experience.

This is an excellent cafe/restaurant. The service was very good and their food was delicious - surprised me as I wasn't actually expecting it to be as good as it was. Their turkey & vegetable soup is so warming, and definitely worth a try. Their beef lesange exceeded my expectations and I am left wondering why it was better than some Italian restaurants. They have a soft play upstairs that's open except on Sundays. I also love that they stock local Dorking honey.

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place was. They do everything from a sandwich to a full meal. From my perspective, it's the ideal sort of place for a light lunch.

It's a self service arrangement if you're after a pre-packaged sandwich or similar; but if you order something that has to be prepared (like a bowl of soup) they hand you a homing device (Really!) and then bring the food to wherever you sit. I stated that we had no wait for a table, which is true, but that was a weekday in December, and we got pretty lucky. Busy times you may well have to use the tented overflow area in the courtyard..
