Food was OK, seemed a bit greasy for a fish and chip shop which is saying something. However the kebab was very nice and well balanced

We walked in and ordered for 8 people Kebabs, Wraps and Fish and chips, we recieved excellent service from a friendly man and lady.We got home and everyone enjoyed the food, the Fish was amazing and the Kebabs a lovley flavour with fresh salad and nice chilli sauce.Thank youDave & Family

Worse fish and chip meal we have had and possibly most expensive takeaway. Spent all night awake with terrible heartburn even though we threw away most of the batter. Chips were awful more like scrap end bits of potato.

After looking at the extremely busy NT cafe at Polesdon Lacey we decided to find a local chippy and this seemed like a good one so we ended up here.Took a while for the food as was cooked to order which I guess is normal as it wasn't the evening. Just one chap there. Food was very good, chips were a nice balance not too greasy and not too dry and hard. Kids meals were very generous...all a good experience. Even sat inside on the table (there is one table for 6).
Well I had a pushchair at the time, and I was struggling with the door and the man behind the counter was to busy talking on his phone to help me open the door. So that's one fail for customer service. Who puts fish on the bottom and chips on top. Should be chips on the bottom with the fish on top then vinegar and salt, just makes the fish go soggy.Luckily some other men come in and when I was ready to go one of them opened the door for me. So thank you to him for using his common sense.

Provided over 40 portions of fish and chips at short notice. They were the best fish and chips we’ve ever tasted. Beautiful white fish light batter and fluffy chips. Amazing.

So this place is an absolute diamond We had a diamond wedding anniversary celebration and the venue had a power cut. This fish and chop shop cooked us over 40 portions in under 2 hrs notice. Each portion was absolutely delicious. Most guests said it was the best fish and chips they’d had. The fish was beautiful really white the batter was light and the chips fluffy on the inside. These guys were quite simply amazing and we can’t recommend them highly enough
