An off day.??Maybe!!!! I don't like to write reviews that are personal and I have had a 10 days to reflect on my experience with this cafe. I have been twice before and had a lovely experience with amazing food. The last time was the worst experience!!! The food I can honestly say is the worst that I have ever had in a cafe! I am 52 and a trained chef for many years and started in a cafe! ! I was astounded with it! The plate was a swimming pool for oil! It was like the food your 10 year old cooks for the first time! I complained...... Maybe because I was served food that was like my son cooked for me when he was 10, trying to teach him how to cook I was not the most gracious customer. I didn't swear and apologised I needed to send it back! I didn't say thank you or please to have decent plate of food replaced! I didnt think I needed too? Sadly that was the reason that I was totally humiliated and vidiculed in front of the the rest of the customers with the chef storming out and saying I should say please and thank you! I expected an apology!!! The owner did apologise but that should have never happened but felt humilated and embarrassed. Shame on you for what you did to me!!!!

Quick service and tasty food. What more do you need. The Jampot appears to be a compact eatery, so you either have to get there early or be prepared to wait. They do takeaways, though... which is always a good plan B.

One large breakfast and one light, coffe and tea. Lovely hot food and very tasty. Add this place to your list to visit. It has a big menu and places to sit inside (and out - but not in December!!).

Good quality food but dont serve burnt toast and beans should be in a ramekin

Nice looking little cafe, but the poached eggs were solid - the whites should be cooked adequately whilst the yolks are still runny - and the toast only done on one side, & was soggy. It was a very disappointing visit.

We had breakfast there 3 days running. A wonderful start to the day while our kitchen was out of action.

We are students standing outside all under age and a lady proceeds to shout and yell at us for absolutely no reason, she accused us of littering which wasnt true if she had actually checked the cameras like she said she would of known that. Again today she had a go at us for slipping over on some grass which doesnt even belong to the cafe. Horrible people

We are students who were standing outside and one of the workers decided to come outside and shout at us for absolutely no reason. I would not recommend going here as the service was

The cafe was buzzing when we arrived. Our order for a full veggie breakfast and avocado on toast didn't take long to arrive and was delicious. Good atmosphere. . Recommend.

Delicious coffee and good food. Spacious table and chair layout combined with great service made for a lovely breakfast meet up. A great way to start the day.
