Waiting for an MOT to be carried out my wife and I popped in to this cafe for a quick bite and found the food and service to be really good.It was recommended by our Son and it was a top shout.

Checked on Google maps for breakfast and saw Egham on toast, it’s a small shop and upon arrival we found out they don’t do Halal options, by halal we don’t need vegetarian sausages. A veg sausage is a veg sausage! So we had to go back and luckily found the Golden Cafe on our way back to the far away car park, they had plenty to offer:)Parking: Can’t say they’ve got parking because the nearest car park is a public library which is around 8-10 mins walk

Went for breakfast, waited until 8.10am but wasn't open and no staff inside. Disappointing as menu looked nice. As seen by photos it clearly states 8am opening.

This place was wonderful. The service was great. The staff were very helpful and all round it was a very unique and friendly experience. Me and my partner enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in the morning and the quality was great. Would definitely recommend.

Second time going here, wasn't great the first time but thought we'd give it a second chance, should of gone with my first impression ! Not the most friendliest of staff or cleanest of tables. I ordered a breakfast with tomatoes and got beans, easy mess up but the mushrooms weren't fully cooked and so much oil it left a puddle on the plate and a not fully toasted muffin either. Do yourself a favour and pass this place by, alot better cafes locally than here. Only 1 star rating given as you can't give a review with none which was deserved with my experience.

Second time here however this time different quality and hygiene.Requested a nespresso and the mug is with old dirt; also the avocado toast seems is missing quantity of avocado (maybe increasing the prices alongside quality?!).To end, the smoothie with chunks of fruit that didn’t get blend properly.

I didn’t get to try the food. We waited 40 minutes and people who had arrived after me had already finished their food. I decided to ask how long it would be and they said mine would be next. I asked if they had not started making it if could I just have a refund. They seemed more annoyed about it than anything and charged me for my drinks. I thought an offer for another drink while we wait would have been appropriate. I don’t like writing negative reviews and I get mistakes happen, but I think this want handled very well. Currently writing this review from Macdonalds as we were so hungry.

Visited for breakfast. Fantastic choice & we all plumped for variations on a full English. Food was beautifully cooked & arrived quickly. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Cannot recommend this place enough
