Never been to Windsor, but I would recommend visiting the Barley Mow if you do. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. As a vegetarian finding Sunday Roasts that are decent is hard enough let alone one I love. Thank you for a great experience fab way to enjoy a meal on my

Great spot to enjoy some food and drinks with friends and family. We came for lunch, with a young one and the staff were attentive enough to offer a high chair before we even managed to ask for one. The food was amazing, we had the two fish dishes. The trout was the standout but the stone bass with mussels was a close second. The interior is lovely and this place will be heaving in the summer, no doubt so make sure you book a table.

Very good food, perfect portion sizes and incredibly good service time. Although you can see kitchen from seat, very good ambience.

Might be a nice place if the staff weren’t openly racist…

We took my mother in law for a meal today. Booking was easy. Our dog was welcome. All 4 of us had really delicious meals. The service was excellent and the ambience welcoming and cosy. We will definitely be returning.

My sausages and mash were the worst dinner I had. The gravy was just water, and the sausages were very dry and chewy. I had to swallow it with my drink. On a positive note, my bloody Mary was excellent. Rest of the family enjoyed their meals and drinks.

There were five of us dining on a Sunday. The three roast beef dinners were amazing, lovely thick slices of beef that was perfectly cooked, great to ask for extra potatoes and yorkshires if needed. The duck with blackberry was apparently lovely, and also the beefburgers and fries. Plates and food was nice and hot, the service was great, very prompt and very pleasant staff. Overall a very nice experience, we will return soon.

A cosy, welcoming establishment, serving excellent food. Our waiter Clive deserves a special mention for his polite friendly manner and above all else for his understated yet clearly extensive appreciation of the finer points of the available menu,Underlisted preference options do not adequately cover the delicious menu items that we chose. Go see Clive, listen to his advice!Parking: In outside roads surrounding village green.

All good! First time here despite it being almost around the corner for us. Decided to come after colleague thoroughly recommended it! Well, I need to thank her!Food is absolutely divine. We had:Starters:Fish soup - tasted like mackerel or sardines. I’m a fan although my son and husband aren’t because it’s too fishy for them. It’s yummy for me!Baked chestnut mushrooms - delishMuscat Pumpkin risotto - warm your cockles!Mains:Steak - cooked to perfection as requested (although they don’t cook rare just medium rare onwards)Sea bass - divine!!Duck leg, dauphinoise potatoes - potatoes are divine. Duck leg is slow-cooked whip means it was a bit just so-so. But that’s just me. But still delicious!I would also recommend the apple and ginger mocktail as it’s super refreshing.Cost - quite standard for gastropub. It is worth what you pay for.Location - great for locals and you’ll need a car. Nothing really interesting around it. You can bring your dog in to the pub bit. Saw a few. If you have allergies it might not be for you. There is outside seating as well.Service - gentleman in charge looked a bit cold but he sorted us out with the bill and was lovely if you speak to him. So don’t be put off. It was also super busy. All the other youthful staff are much more engaging and professional than a lot of others in other establishment (like the Oatlands Chaser we went to a few nights ago) so well done to the team!! ?Do I recommend? Yes - and I would come back again especially if on the way to or back from Saville Gardens/Windsor Park.Parking: No allocated parking space but lots of free road parking as it’s a residential area. Park in front of the pub along the green.

Excellent meal, beautifully presented. Waiter (beard and pony tail) you were great, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Will definately come back. I had tenderloin Pork which melted in my mouth. Very yummy.

My wife and I dined at the Barley Mow on a Fruday evening. Parking was a bit of a challenge around the green however we were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome, decor and atmosphere. The food was very good and the service faultless so all in all we had a great evening out. Having Tribute beer from the St Austell brewery on draft was an unexpected bonus.
