Ordered a meal from here yesterday for the first time, and quite frankly, it was awful, beyond awful! Lumpy rice, unrecognisable tasting chopsuey, a tasteless black bean dish, and the curry sauce was also bland. What an absolute waste of money! Gained 1 star as the meal was delivered hot.

Have come back to the Dinner Box after trying lots of other Chinese takeaways. I will have to say there Singapore noodles my go to Chinese takeaway ? is the best by far and made the most traditional way definitely 5 stars, also had recently there Crispy shredded beef and sweet and sour chicken balls and were all excellent. This will definitely be my go to Chinese takeaway again.

If u like ur food plan and very bland no flavour with it then this is ur place to go the satay chicken was pathetic packet of fridge raiders got more meat in it than on those sticks I got chicken balls were so tiny could fit 2 in my mouth this used to b a great place for food bk in the early 2000 but just like all of them in the area going down hill definitely no value for money at this place anymore.

Taste wise the food was OK however the chicken & mushroom soup was mainly all broth it really was a case of hunt the chicken and mushrooms and the special house chow mein was mainly all vegetables! The 1.5 hour delivery on a Saturday night ( advised of delay when ordering ) was a little excessive. The really bad part was that had I not queried the total cost of the order I would have been over charged by £6 deliberate or error??

Just had a fantastic meal, the portions were well above expectations. Food, very tasty, if l had any negatives, l would request that the curry sauce, in the various dishes, that we had, a be a bit thicker, apart from that, thoroughly loved our meal, and will definitely be ordering again. This place was horrific! Orders at 6.20pm, it arrived at 8.40pm! After I called multiple times for updates and the phone-operator lying about caller the driver. When it arrived- it was flavorless and a whole lot of white gloop - not a single green vegetable or decent prawn to be seen. Have since had a tummy ache- do not eat here!
