We had a fantastic experience at Spanish Tapas for a birthday celebration. Everything we tried was delicious and perfect for sharing — the paellas, tortillas and chorizo in cider were all excellent.

A special mention for the Basque cheesecake, which was absolutely outstanding — easily one of the highlights of the meal!

The food, atmosphere and overall experience made it a great place for a birthday celebration. We’ll definitely be back!

The best café by far in Epsom! Delicious homemade food, fresh juices, and the coffee is really great. I always get their flat white and spinach feta crepe. Best of all it's an independent and family run cafe with lovely owners/workers and a nice environment. I usually come in here to work on my laptop but its perfect for groups of 2 - 4 people. Without fear of contradiction, this is up there with the finest Indian food I've ever had and if not the best.

Indian chicken soup: the flavours are totally insane.....

Chicken Varutharacha: The taste is so fresh and is utterly indulgent, however, it is so light.

Garlic naan: super thin with the correct amount of garlic butter and not doughy.

Lovely modern clean surroundings, with linen table clothes and serviettes. Great service and a very fair price.

We visited as a group of four friends for a birthday lunch and ordered the Undo and Sushi set, along with an additional maki roll, tuna taco, Nasu Dengaku (baked aubergine), and Geso Kara (fried squid).

Every dish was exceptionally fresh and beautifully prepared. The tuna taco, in particular, was outstanding – incredibly fresh and full of flavour. The Nasu Dengaku and Geso Kara were equally impressive, and everything we tried was of the highest quality.

What truly stood out was the value for money – the standard of the food was so high that it felt very reasonably priced in comparison. The service was also excellent: warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming.

As it was a birthday lunch, the whole experience felt even more special. Thanks to the wonderful food and outstanding hospitality, we all left feeling truly happy and grateful. It was a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend it.

Jodie was super helpful and responsive in planning, the food was delicious - we had a buffet menu and the venue was accessible for disabled relatives. The food was all freshly made and catered well for everyone’s taste. Everyone commented how tasty it was. The staff were so helpful and the venue was lovely and relaxed. THE spot for halal Italian food! This place was a lifesaver during my pregnancy days with their penne arrabbiata, Alfredo pasta, jalapeño poppers and all their fast food as well. The chipotle burgers and smash burgers are a crowd favourite. The desserts hit the spot every time and they’re always generous with their meals. The burger is far superior than your average KFC or McDonalds, which typically fits in the palm of your hand.

Delivery is fast, customer service is great, and they always come in handy when you don’t want to cook and want food that’ll fill your stomach without making you feel oily from the inside out. All in all, a great foodie experience!

The Major Plaice

I don’t usually write reviews, but Major Plaice was too good not to. So, I popped in last Friday after hearing some good things, and I gotta say, it lived up to the hype. I had the cod and chips, and honestly, the fish was bang on. Perfectly cooked, lovely white flakes, and the batter was crispy without being greasy.

The chips were proper chippy chips, too. None of those skinny fries, but chunky ones that were fluffy inside and golden outside. I splashed out on some curry sauce as well, and it was decent – not too watery, which is always a bonus.

It was pretty busy when I went, but the staff were still friendly and efficient. You could tell they were working hard. All in all, a solid chippy experience. If you're after a good, honest plate of fish and chips, Major Plaice is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

Well it was a nice experience dining in Amani ! I was served by a very polite gentleman name Mr Rojal ! I had lamb chop and butter chicken with garlic naan ! Lamb chop had a mix of spice and scour taste which was perfect. Butter chicken and naan was standard. The service I received made the experience a lot better. Staff were attentive nice. I would recommend this place to anyone craving for an Indian cuisine. So if you’re there and got served by that gentleman Mr Rojal will for sure have a good time in there.

I tried most Chinese restaurants in Epsom and this one has become my one and only favourite. Always piping hot food, still crispy when it gets to you, perfectly flavored and always deliver on time or a little earlier even at peak hours (Friday night.) The portions are also very generous and prices are very good. If you're not sure what to get, I recommend the crispy beef chilli or sweet & sour chicken hong kong style if you're afraid of spice, but if you don't mind a little warmth do try the szechuan chicken, it is seriously delicious. Savory and hot with generous chunks of vegetables and chicken steeped in the szechuan sauce. With egg fried rice it's my favourite dish.

I dont understand with the negative comments! This is literally the BEST fish and chip shop around the whole of epsom, they’re always super busy and so professional. Always a clean atmosphere the workers are super friendly and kind! The fish is always tastes amazing and freshly cooked! They had issues with their potatoes a couple weeks ago but explained it with a sign up at the shop and also let us know ahead. The best shop ever! Keep the hard work up guys and thank you for your service! Xx

I go here often as I find it’s the best kebab around. Today however there was a young guy never seen before who put far too much salt on mine and my daughters chips therefore we couldn’t eat them. I also asked for salad and was told kids meals don’t get salad by this guy. Surely a kids meal SHOULD have salad and im pretty sure the normal lovely staff would not have said this. A kid asking for salad to be turned down seems so bad. I will go back but not if that guy is serving again. No ask for sauce either which I’m always asked. Sorry guys u will know who I am but I will be back when the younger guy isn’t there

I have been a customer of China Chef for over 10 years now and it is our default once every two weeks takeway, not only the whole family are the kindest of people but the food is of outstanding quality. Our top choices are the Japanese Style Ribs, Salt and Pepper Chicken wings, Special Pad Thai, Green Curry and of course the aromatic duck. Prices are very fair and portions plentiful.

I had a really great experience at T.O.G. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The donner meat was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned, and the chips were crispy outside and soft inside.
The portion size was generous for the price.
