Had this meal with family after an afternoon theatre. Pre- booked on internet. Waitress was lovely and welcoming and very efficient. Our starters were all appetising, nicely presented. The only problem came with my main course...a chicken caesar. The lettuce was wet, it was drowned in dressing, the chicken was so well cooked it was hard, and the garlic and anchovy croutons were just 3 burned chunks of bread with no flavour, our waitress immediately said she would refund the dish, so no complaint there. Visited just over a week ago with a large group. Attentive and polite staff and service. Tasty South Indian food and nice ambience. I highly recommend Oottupura for fans of decent South Indian food. Ordered Chicken 65 and Cauliflower 65 for starters, bith excellent. The dosas and masala dosas were crisp and delicious. The sambar, idli and vada were also fantastic. Mango lassi was thick and creamy.

After cutting my finger peeling potatoes and a three hour visit to Epsom General we decided to go to this restaurant and try the food. Two adult and one kids carvery later we left full, well fed and happy.We were seated without a prior reservation and both waitresses were lovely asking us if we needed anything and ensuring we were looked after. In addition Khaled served us the carvery and explained everything perfectly.The food standard was high everything being well cooked, great variety and delicious. The drinks were a bit sub par with watery soft drinks being the main gripe.Overall we will definitely visit again hopefully without the preceding hospital visit :)

On the contrary to the other reviews I have nothing but excellent things to review. Where do I start? I have so many good points to make about this place. I used to go for lunch here with my baby daughter (materinity leave) in 2015 and back then I was so impressed by the freshness, the portions, the cleanliness and Jay (the owner, down to earth and warming service skills). It's always very quiet and clean so this automatically gives you a nice ambience. Fast forward to now, whilst most establishments have gone downhill after covid, Makiyaki went up several levels. They updated the decor (gorgeous), their crockery is very up market and their sauces that are drizzled over the sushi is fantastic. Jay the owner is extremely humble and polite and is a great chef and puts his all into everything his does. Alongside him, his wife also runs the restaurant. She is very efficient and conscientious about every detail. It's nice to see a restaurant has gone from strength to strength and their dishes are worth every penny. Recommendations are: scallop Volcano, Gyoza (very fresh), England, Spider and kingston roll. I have lots of other favorites but the new addition is their pancake desert.

I always have a great experience with El Rincon, the staff and food are consistently great.My latest experience involved me ordering 2 main dishes to collect as my Mother wasn’t feeling well enough to venture out. Carlos had arranged for both dishes to be expertly plated and packed so they stayed warm for the journey home, which was very kind!Both dishes (skate wings and veg, liver & onions with veg) were extremely good, so tasty.Thank you very much.

First time visiting The Station pub, conveniently located next to the exit of Stoneleigh station. It's was a pleasant surprise. Very nice, interior, attentive staff & decent loos. I asked for a cup of tea which the chap kindly went away to make. A large cup and a jug of milk (always appreciated as I'm fussy about the colour of my tea !). It was 3 small flights of stairs up to the function room which which is a lovely, large venue with a timber beamed ceiling, panelled walls and with a heraldic image painted on the far wall. A bit of a Tudor vibe ! There's a ladies loo up there too which is very handy and avoids the stairs. That's the pub. Now to the Comedy. Undoubtedly the best gig I've been to. The sets were much longer than normal which was brilliant, especially as Stephen.K.Amos and Hal Cruttenden are two of my favourite comedians. Both were on top form and the audience loved them both as well as the excellent MC, Dan Evans. Definitely worth braving freezing temperatures for !
