Tremendous! We've been to The Spring Tavern many times over the last 15 years, and today, by far, was the best visit for food. Previously we've had minor niggles but boy, oh boy, this was superb from the time we walked in and were greeted to having a main course to salivating at the puddings. Natasha looked after us, very attentive but not intrusive, you never felt you'd been missed or waiting for service.
Every dish was perfect, this included 2 fantastic pizzas, a huge & succulent 'dirty' burger and the most indulgent steak & Malbec pie. We thought these dishes were good but the puddings were all top draw, especially the Chocolate bomb & the Sicilian lemon tart.
With various alcoholic drinks the bill was £154 which we were happy to pay for such good fare, and it was nice to see, that a tip was your choice and not added automatically.
Overall, this was a faultless meal and we most certainly will be back.

hidden gem in Epsom with amazing fusion flavors! We tried a mix of dishes and everything was delicious, especially the halloumi, salmon, and hummus starters. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and never rushed us. Portion sizes were just right and pricing felt really fair. Cozy, warm atmosphere with a great vibe throughout the restaurant. You really get that fusion feel in every dish. Can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Ask Italia in Epsom and spoke with both the General Manager, other Managers and staff who were all incredibly welcoming kind and hospitable, I was trying to help a homeless young lady sitting outside in the freezing cold, they went above and beyond with their compassion and kindness and gave her a hot chocolate and something to eat, I was blown away by the humility and overall kindness of th staff their, li sky building and delicious pizza, brought a smile to her face despite the hardships she was enduring and a tear to my eye ?? bless you Epsom Ask Italia

The best café by far in Epsom! Delicious homemade food, fresh juices, and the coffee is really great. I always get their flat white and spinach feta crepe. Best of all it's an independent and family run cafe with lovely owners/workers and a nice environment. I usually come in here to work on my laptop but its perfect for groups of 2 - 4 people. This place is a hidden gem! I can't believe I've only just discovered this restaurant. The food was sublime, really tasty and fresh, but not overwhelming at all. It even had some ingredients you don't normally find in the UK. We had a Dosa, Malabar Prawn Curry and Paneer Tikka. All perfectly cooked and prepared.

The service was also wonderful and very well priced. I would highly recommend!

I have lived just a short walk from the Cricketer’s pub for almost 40 years . I have experienced management changes , refurbishments and numerous changes of chefs. Until recently the quality of the food and service has been mixed to say the least and it was not a pub I could recommend to friends with confidence.
However that has all been changed now, the pub has just been refurbished , a really exceptional manager appointed and the quality of the food and service is now excellent and good value for money. I took my wife for her birthday dinner last Monday , she had the Chicken Schnitzel, myself the slow cooked pork, both dishes were excellent.
The team are doing great job in what are difficult times for the hospitality sector.
Thank you for making my local pub a place I want to visit.

My order, Large doner wrap £10 - foot long coke can diameter dinner wrap packed full of doner meat, cabbage, onion, cucumber and tomato. and a giant burger £8.50 3 patties 2 slices of cheese and salad.

Donner wrap tip. Can be cut into 4 portions. Easily enough for a meal. Place into the air fryer from fridge cold for 20mins (less time if you've just bought it) 180degrees. Or if you are hungry pace the whole thing in the air fryer for an extra crispy donner wrap.

All legend kebabs are very similar and consistent portions and pricing, very reliable and staff are very friendly.

I don’t usually write reviews, but Major Plaice was too good not to. So, I popped in last Friday after hearing some good things, and I gotta say, it lived up to the hype. I had the cod and chips, and honestly, the fish was bang on. Perfectly cooked, lovely white flakes, and the batter was crispy without being greasy.

The chips were proper chippy chips, too. None of those skinny fries, but chunky ones that were fluffy inside and golden outside. I splashed out on some curry sauce as well, and it was decent – not too watery, which is always a bonus.

It was pretty busy when I went, but the staff were still friendly and efficient. You could tell they were working hard. All in all, a solid chippy experience. If you're after a good, honest plate of fish and chips, Major Plaice is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back!

Well it was a nice experience dining in Amani ! I was served by a very polite gentleman name Mr Rojal ! I had lamb chop and butter chicken with garlic naan ! Lamb chop had a mix of spice and scour taste which was perfect. Butter chicken and naan was standard. The service I received made the experience a lot better. Staff were attentive nice. I would recommend this place to anyone craving for an Indian cuisine. So if you’re there and got served by that gentleman Mr Rojal will for sure have a good time in there.

My wife and I visited Pizzeria Ntunetta on Saturday 19/07.
The pizzas we had were really good, the bases were soft and tasted beautiful and they both had the right ratio of toppings to sauce. My pizza had fresh basil leaves which worked really well.
We also had a side salad and it was nice to be offered a choice of chilli and garlic infused olive oil to dress it.
My wife enjoyed her tiramisu and I had a tub of gelato (only £2.50), which finished the meal off beautifully. The waiting staff were attentive and it was nice that they checked that everything was ok during the meal.

Quite a cute little gem in Epsom. Went for breakfast with my daughter around 10am, loved the painted artwork on the walls. I dont understand with the negative comments! This is literally the BEST fish and chip shop around the whole of epsom, they’re always super busy and so professional. Always a clean atmosphere the workers are super friendly and kind! The fish is always tastes amazing and freshly cooked! They had issues with their potatoes a couple weeks ago but explained it with a sign up at the shop and also let us know ahead. The best shop ever! Staff is always outstanding and food is always great. Me and my little one love to come here often on weekends to have a little lunch. I am always impressed with the people consistently being super friendly and so kind towards my girl. Highly recommended of course.

Lovely takeaway, helpful and kind workers who care about their customers. Taste and quality of food is immaculate! Cooking time is always quick. Food was well packaged and warm, chowmein was excellent, the additional fortune cookies and prawn crackers were appreciated. In addition, the interior of the takeaway is very well decorated and beautiful.

Me & my husband have been ordering from hung fung for years , its the best Chinese takeaway around. All there food is excellent & very tasty.
I highly recommend the duck with pancakes, Singapore rice noodles is Phenomenal. Salt & chilli prawns is superb ? special fried rice with meat and veg is excellent ? hot chicken wings, perking style spare ribs, chicken satay on the skewers all superb ? chicken balls in batter, the prawn balls in batter are excellent & the crushed garlic chop suey beautiful. ?

I go here often as I find it’s the best kebab around. Today however there was a young guy never seen before who put far too much salt on mine and my daughters chips therefore we couldn’t eat them. I also asked for salad and was told kids meals don’t get salad by this guy. Surely a kids meal SHOULD have salad and im pretty sure the normal lovely staff would not have said this. A kid asking for salad to be turned down seems so bad. I will go back but not if that guy is serving again. No ask for sauce either which I’m always asked. Sorry guys u will know who I am but I will be back when the younger guy isn’t there

Beautiful building in the centre of Epsom High Street facing the main road. This Spoons has ample outside seating facing market stalls on a wide footpath area. Stella is £4.70 per pint & 3 small plates come in at £14.99. It was busy the Saturday morning we visited with all ages enjoying a breakfast before hitting the shops in the Ashley centre. Parking is available close by at the centre for £2.50 for 1 hour. Lovely relaxing Wetherspoons that was formerly a drapers shop & building society.
