There is definitely room for improvement. The toilet facilities were disgusting, bin very rusty and falling apart , walls and floor were dirty and in need of a fresh coat of paint. Unfortunately the store needs an overall makeover as it looks tired and I couldn’t wait to just grab my brunch and leave the store. The young lady serving today was polite.

It doesn’t matter how many times I ask for my mochas to be extra hot, I still get served one that I can’t even describe as hot. Not bothering to go here again, which is a shame because Caffe Nero do the best mocha. I get a proper hot drink in the Cobham and Kingston branches. Don’t know what the problem is in Esher.

Avoid. Much better places to buy coffee. Lousy service

When you walk in you don’t know if you can just sit and if someone will come and take the order. They don’t mention if you take a ciabatta bread from the fridge that they will warm it up in the oven. (It tasted great) The three girls at the counter take your order but it’s chaotic because other people are also waiting for their coffee and you don’t know which coffee is for whom. I said girls, because they are playful and this business is not run serious like a business. If there was a manager overlooking the orders and the customers, it would fare far better. We are left a bit to ourselves, they don’t bring your order to the table.

Service is shocking, they are extremely rude, and there is no standards, every time I go there they do my drink in a different way/ size

Food felt like it wasn’t fresh at all - very average. Coffee was better.

well presented branch of top coffee house chain. Staff really understand customers and are consistently friendly. Always a lovely experience. The food is better than other places offering some vegan and gluten free options - and the coffee is excellent. However there are some bad points, hence only 2 stars: a. Smoking outdoors is still allowed, despite respiratory impact proven through inhaling smoke which makes it impossible for non-smokers to use outdoor areas. It is completely insane to impose masking rules and social distancing yet still discrimination non-smokers exists. Smokers can just get a takeaway or smoke before or after there coffee somewhere else.If Caffè Nero does not want to act responsibly then this discrimination and pollution and harming healthy non-smokers must be stopped.

A very nice coffee shop on the high street, exactly what - and - where you want it! Nice staff and generally nothing wrong with it, but could do with a better cleaning routine. I started to notice that the tables are often messy and dirty/sticky - even if freshly cleaned/wiped, sadly I could say the same about the toilet.

Nice relaxed atmosphere. A perfect place for a coffee and a dessert after a walk in Esher. Plant powered breakfast sounds good. I love the pictures from the 60s. The furniture has seen better days.
