Ordered a delivery and was advised it would take up to 20 minutes. Phoned after more than an hour and was told it would be another 15 minutes! No apology or reason for the delay given. The meal was eventually delivered by the restaurant more than 90 minutes after it was ordered! Very poor service and lack of apology angered me.

Having recently got rid of Just Eat due to too many problems I decided to order direct in Dial India's website. Excellent menu First class service - food arrived before the estimated 6.45pm despite the snow and the food was excellent. Recommended

Food was really lovely, especially loved my prawn dhansak plenty of flavour and lots of prawns too and my partner enjoyed his chicken tikka masala too. Also really good value for money especially the meal deal £12.99 for curry, rice, naan , side dish and poppadom. Only thing would say is that the saag panneer was a bit dry would've preferred it to be bit creamier but still had good flavour. Fair to say i am stuffed! Would order again if next time the delivery man doesnt try bashing down my door when he cant find the doorbell, which i pointed out to him when i answered the door, although he was appologetic afterwards

Order was due at 7:20. Called at 7:25 and was told that I hadn’t ordered three times before they found the order. Then told me it had already left and will be here any moment then put the phone down. 10 minutes later the driver calls to confirm the address but he hadn’t left yet, so the person from the call 10 minutes before was lying. Driver said he would be 5 to 10 minutes. Driver arrived 20 minutes later. Prawn purée was room temperature and soggy. Was a shame cause the taste probably would have been great hot. Won’t return, especially with so many other restaurants around.

I have supported this Indian takeaway since it changed hands and the food has been great with delivery times as expected and delivery guys always friendly and courteous. The Prawn Puri, Chicken Tikka Dhansak, Lamb Madras and Naga Chicken have all been amazing. The prices are fair and the portions generous. They have always added the extra poppadom or a few chutnies as a complimentary sweetner, which is a nice surprise and always appreciated. Why 4-stars and not 5; lately there have been changes which have left me wavering on my continued custom. First the prawn puri... in my opinion ruined. For some reason cucumber has been added to the recipe and cooked cucumber is gross. I have asked for it to be left out but I guess this was not communicated to the kitchen so hot cucumber again - yuck! Next was the change in Chapati from 2 per portion to 1 with a reduction in price, but still an increase of 20% if you want 2. In my opinion quite a big uplift in price.\\nOverall Dial India has been good on the whole but these changes have been detrimental and I will be interested to see if I get a reply, encouraging me to continue to be a customer.

Don't ever use this company, they are utterly useless. We waited over 1hr and still no one showed up, even after being told the driver was 2 mins away. We rang the shop back as he still was not here after another 30mins. Then he told us they lost my number and asked for it again. When I said I was not happy he argued and offered a discount of just over £1 and the driver would call me. Still no show or call and when I called back he said driver came back to shop and could not deliver. What an awful and rude company they are a joke.

It has been 1hr and 45mins and still no food, we called 40mins ago and he said it wouldn't be long. We have just called to be told the driver couldn't find our home and they lost our number. The driver has returned to the shop so we get no food. Useless.

The restaurant forgot items. When i phoned to complain they didn't want to know and asked me to contact just eat instead. Food quality was not great & customer service was non existent. I would avoid and pick one of the other Indian restaurants in the area instead. Not a happy customer.

*** AVOID *** Had a delivery from here and the curries were so watery and tasteless with little meat / prawns. The Naan bread was allegedly garlic but didn’t taste of garlic. Very disappointing. *** AVOID ***

I ordered from the place via their own website for the first time and to simply put it I had the worst takeaway ever! Spent over 1 hour and 45 minutes to be delivered, when it finally arrived it was cold and watery!

Dial India...I'm sorry but I was disappointed with my meal from you, it's like you've given up and lost passion for cooking... I love my food and your curry didn't deliver...in fact it also delivered late. Your curry was cold, lacked seasoning and flavour. I could chew and disintegrate a Wrigleys chewing gum quicker than most of the lamb you served. I'm a believer in giving people a second chance, I may of just had a unfortunate experience. I promise if next time my experience is positive, I'll leave you a wonderful review...
