We came here to celebrate our son's birthday and, as hoped, it proved a truly memorable occasion. Ben and Lornette welcomed us into their home with warmth and humour. The restaurant space isn't huge which adds to the cosy ambiance. And the food; quite stunning to look at and intriguing to taste - Ben is able to combine a beautiful spectacle with delicious flavours. He is incredibly skilful and Lornette the perfect hostess who is efficient, knowledgeable but never intrusive. A great experience and will definitely recommend.

Like stepping into a family kitchen where the chef is a wizard! Very homely experience with super hosts and so intimate sat on the chefs table. Love what you did with the Jerusalem artichoke and the added authenticity of locally sourced food was inspiring. We will definitely be back. Thanks guys a truly memorable evening.

What can I add that hasn't already been said about this place ? Took my partner here for his birthday celebration dinner & what an excellent choice this turned out to be. As Front of House Lornette ensures a warm welcome to all, she is friendly, professional & would be an asset to any establishment. Ben is a consummate chef , extremely skilled & talented producing some mouth watering & unusual combinations. Together this charming couple run a restaurant worthy of all its accolades & deserving of Michelin star status for sure. Cannot wait to return & will rank up there as one of the most memorable culinary evenings .
Fine dining with a pleasant relaxed quality. Husband and Wife team who are both clearly comfortable and brilliant at what they do, each balancing and complementing the other, to ensure the intimate venue is warm and enjoyable. The food was first class and shows a real passion. Plenty of local produce without compromise and not a menu in sight. A great selection of wines with plenty of advice. Do not be suprised to find the restraunt fully booked and having to wait a number of weeks to get a table. It's a small venue and it's popular, for very good reason. We will 100% return and definitely recommend it with 5 stars.

Impeccable service, tremendous food, and a warm, lovely dining room. Months later and I'm still thinking about some of the dishes we enjoyed. I highly recommend booking the Chef's Table if you can. It books up quite a bit in advance, but seeing Ben doing his work is fascinating, and the chance to choose an ingredient for him to build a dish around is a lot of fun. It's not a cheap restaurant, but you would pay double for this kind of quality and service in London. Book a table forthwith!
