We came here to celebrate our son's birthday and, as hoped, it proved a truly memorable occasion. Ben and Lornette welcomed us into their home with warmth and humour. The restaurant space isn't huge which adds to the cosy ambiance. And the food; quite stunning to look at and intriguing to taste - Ben is able to combine a beautiful spectacle with delicious flavours. He is incredibly skilful and Lornette the perfect hostess who is efficient, knowledgeable but never intrusive. A great experience and will definitely recommend.

Our first time at Veena’s kitchen and it was amazing. The food was excellent and so was the service. We went with two young children on a Friday night and the staff were so accommodating and the children loved the bubble tea. They loved their first Thai meal experience.

This is not Haute Cuisine, but the service is excellent. The menu, Sunday Roasts is typical pub fare. I sat in the conservatory by the southern window and was dazzled by the sun. It needs some blinds on that side. It is a popular place for families so be prepared for toddlers to be running around. There is no toilet in the conservatory, you have to go outside and then enter the pub proper. Big car park.

With live bands on the stage above mainly in the summer and dancing is encouraged. Can cater for large groups and ideal for staff parties. Top notch food at reasonable prices and also the beer too. Attracts crowds of all ages. Got a trendy feel to the place. Lots of seating inside and out and some epic features to gaze upon. The bar is beautifully laid out and staff are all extremely helpful and quick to serve. Parking outside opposite on the road.

First visit for 6 years and it hasn't changed (thank goodness). Great well conditioned beer (Directors was exemplary) and a terrific range of crisps, dogs, warm indoors, no pretentious nonsense although I'd love to see some "craft" cans in there (not supermarket craft, proper craft) and some pork/vegan pies with pickles. But I won't mark a pub down for being a proper beer pub in a county that guzzles wine and cocktails.

We had our work "Private Christmas Party" at the Lamb in December. We ordered in an Indian Takeaway, plus booked Glen for his Karaoke and Disco. It was a fabulous evening and we all (35of us) had a great time! It was the 3rd year in a row that we chose the Lamb because it is a lovely size for a party, the Landlord is always very nice and couldn't do more to make it a great night for us. Glen also does a great job on the Karaoke and gets lots of people up to sing. I highly recommend The Lamb for a party!

Really nice tucked away family run pub. Very helpful signage from the A31 giving directions. Got a great feel when you walk through the door and everyone is very welcoming. The layout and decor is very inviting and definitely has a nice feel to it. The beer garden is one of a kind, great style and gives you privacy when in your party. I loved the huge secluded table and perfect for family get togethers or couples alike. Would recommend this place for sure. Oh and there is a huge car park on the opposite side of the road with generous parking bays. Definitely worth another visit sometime. To add, there is the local shop a few feet away that sells COOK and a good variety of products.
