Went to the Royal Oak for Sunday roast with the wife, it's was very nice and a decent portion size, it was the puddings that made it perfect, definitely recommend this place if you want a easy Sunday roast. Thank you to the owner..

First of all can I just comment, Danny was excellent at looking after us!! The menu has lots to offer everybody's requirements, the food that myself, wife and mum ordered was absolutely lovely, in fact all the other food being brought out looked fantastic, this place is definitely the one to visit over local pub's in the area, we will be going back soon,

Took advantage of the Groupon Sunday Roast deal. Had a late guest join us and paid full price for them. The Sunday Roast is listed at £18 per head. With the Groupon deal it was £24 for 2, so a savingings of £6 per head. The food was well prepared. The service was courteous and efficient and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall the meal was enjoyable. Two of us had the crumble desert and it was generous and delicious. There was only a small disappointed ant that was with the small portion of beef we received. This is perfectly understandable when you take the resent cost of living crisis into account and the percentage that promoters like Groupon take of the fee...So next time we will book directly and pay list price to get the full experience.

Absolutely fabulous family pub! Excellent menu with plenty of choice and very flexible for children! We were looked after brilliantly by Steph, Danni and Nayel who were not only friendly and attentive but also interacted with the children who were provided with an abundance of crayons, paper and puzzles. The food was excellent and a lovely ambience. Leave room for desert!

Althought the food is very nice we felt that there wasn't much choice on the menu and regarding the cost, it was quite high for what we had in a local pub there are similar establishments around the area with more choices at a more realistic price.

Popped in briefly today to refresh. Greeted by 2 younger members of staff. Who were welcoming to me and my pooch. So lovely and a nice atmosphere!! ?

love to support our local pub. food very good, plenty of choice and well cooked. ambience good, sadly the waitresses were a bit slow and didn't really know if there were any specials or anything....bit too busy talking to each other as it was a slow day. but would happily dine there again anytime.
